Iloilo Central Stake Witnesses the Blessings of Linking Arms

On September 14, 2025, during the Iloilo Central Stake Conference, 43 priesthood holders were advanced to the Melchizedek Priesthood—an achievement that exceeded the stake’s original goal.

“We set this goal not for the numbers but to bless the lives of these priesthood holders and their families—to open eternal possibilities for them as they follow the Savior Jesus Christ,” said President James Garcia, President of the Iloilo Central Stake.

This milestone was made possible as both leaders and members faithfully applied the Linking Arms program, worked closely with bishops to prepare worthy priesthood holders, and followed the guidelines in the General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Pavia Ward Joins National Family Week 2025
September 22–27, 2025 | Iloilo Philippines Central Stake

The Pavia Ward of the Iloilo Philippines Central Stake joyfully participated in the celebration of National Family Week on September 22–27, 2025. This special occasion highlighted the divine importance of families as central to God’s plan of happiness.

Throughout the week, members were reminded of the sacred responsibility to strengthen homes through love, faith, and unity. Activities and gatherings focused on fostering stronger bonds within families, encouraging gospel-centered living, and sharing Christlike love in the community.

The event served as a meaningful reminder that families, when centered on Jesus Christ, can find lasting joy, peace, and strength amidst life’s challenges.
