As their Temple Trip on June 3–4, 2026 comes to a close, the youth of the Iloilo Stake prepare to leave Cebu after performing sacred temple ordinances for their ancestors. ✨

They were blessed to hear inspiring messages during a devotional last night from President Pastor B. Torres and his wife, Sister Wilma Torres.

Thank you so much, President and Sister Torres! Your messages has strengthened the youth and enriched their temple experience.💗

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On this blessed day, Sunday, May 31, 2026, the Bacolod Philippines Temple will be dedicated by Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. This sacred event will be broadcast to all units within the temple district, including the Iloilo Philippines Stake, at the Arevalo Stake Center with sessions at 10:00AM and rebroadcast at 2:00PM.

In reverence for this historic occasion, there will be no sacrament services or regular meetings. Attendance will be limited to baptized members listed on unit records, and all participants must present a valid temple recommend and broadcast ticket, including baptized children ages 8–11. Children and youth under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and all are encouraged to arrive early to be seated before the session begins.

Members are reminded to maintain reverence, treating the meetinghouse as an extension of the temple. Let us gather in faith and devotion to witness this sacred milestone together.

Throughout history, the Lord has raised up deliverers to guide and bless His people. Yet the greatest Deliverer is Jesus Christ. As Elder Neil L. Andersen taught, as the world speaks less of Him, we are invited to speak more of Him. When we share our faith openly and sincerely, we help bring light into a world that needs His name and His hope.

With heartfelt gratitude and great hope for the future, we warmly welcome the new Branch Presidency of the San Joaquin Branch of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Iloilo Philippines Stake.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we joyfully congratulate our newly set apart missionary, Elder Katipunan, as he begins his sacred service in the Philippines Cavite Mission.

May the powers of heaven attend and sustain him as he faithfully answers the call to serve the Lord. As he leaves his home and loved ones behind, we pray that he may be guided by the Spirit in every step, strengthened in times of challenge, and filled with Christlike love for the people he will serve.

May he become a powerful instrument in the hands of the Lord in helping bring the children of Heavenly Father unto Christ and into the waters of baptism. We know that missionary work is the work of salvation, and through his faith, obedience, and testimony, many lives will be blessed and changed forever.

To Elder Katipunan — your Stake family loves you, supports you, and prays for you always. Go forward with faith, courage, and humility. The Lord will magnify your efforts as you serve Him with all your heart, might, mind, and strength.
