Ang bug-os nga Janiuay-Badiangan Cicruit of Baptist Churches naga-upod gid sa panimalay sang anay CPU President kag tumandok sang Janiuay kag Badiangan nga si Atty. Juanito "Juaning" Acanto.

As we celebrate the life of service and faith that Dr. Acanto exemplified, may this be a testament to Manong Juaning's faith and the love he shared with us. Let us praise and thank God for the time we had with him and the hope of reunion in eternity.

We may have faced different challenges or circumstances last week, but as we begin a new week, let us consider God's word through this verse.

Here are the words of the prophet Isaiah in Chapter 40, verse 31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Even though it might be exceedingly challenging to hold onto hope and your faith in God during dark times, the Lord still loves you and you can always find help through prayer.

Let us pray:

All-present and all-knowing God, you know our hearts and thoughts. Our minds may be bombarded by the pressures and demands of the present, but we hold on to Your promise that You will give us the right amount of strength to accomplish our tasks. Refuel our souls that we may be able to rise above the circumstances and challenges that we face. May this opening of classes strengthen our hearts to inspire others to walk daily by faith and not be overwhelmed by the realities this life may bring in our sight. We commit all these to You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
