The first ever organization of Catholic nursing students in the Philippines 💖 Organized on August 27, 2022, and was formally established on September 15, 2022 as a Catholic student organization for the academic community of West Visayas State University - College of Nursing. Nursing. VISION: A premier Catholic organization, pioneering in various liturgical and Christ-centered religious celebrations, social activities, and Christian formation for the promotion of holistic development and transformation of the individual and society. MISSION: The Catholic Student Nurses Association is a Catholic organization of student nurses which aims to contribute to the formation of a just and humane society by instilling Christian Values, and unearthing among student nurses what it truly means to be a good Catholic and true servant of God. GOALS:
⚜️To commit itself in mobilizing the would-be nurses for social change, show mercy, and compassion to all humans entrusted to their care regardless of religious faith and social status
⚜️To bring Christ closer to the student nurses and communities, and seek unity amidst diversity through liturgical and religious celebrations
⚜️To focus on helping the community, environment, education and values formation for the development of Christ-centered nurses and leaders

OBJECTIVES:
⚜️To facilitate the student nurses and young individuals to make a personal, free, and conscious choice of faith and conversion through initial evangelization programs and activities, prayer and worship.
⚜️To deepen and nourish this initial faith towards maturity through regular catechesis and reception of the sacraments.
⚜️To enable the matured faith to bear fruit in the various areas of life through pastoral care and healthcare as future nurses.
⚜️To provide meaningful relational and recreational fellowship opportunities through liturgical and religious activities, outreach programs, spiritual formations, retreats, and webinars, as well as, moments for group sharing, team-building activities and the like.
⚜️To offer and involve student nurses and young people in activities that promote social awareness and involvement, such as open forums, group discussions, community immersions, socio-civic activities, and other similar endeavors.
⚜️To build solid leadership and empower student nurses through formation and experience, such as trainings, structured learning experiences, and formal and informal courses.
