A Celebration of Family, Fitness, and Togetherness

With hearts full of gratitude, we thank everyone who made the Family Color Fun Run 2026 a resounding success.

As we celebrated this year's National Family Week theme, “Pamilya, Pagkakapantay-pantay at Kapakanan ng Bata,” we were reminded of the importance of strengthening families, nurturing children, and building communities where everyone can thrive. Through every step, splash of color, and shared moment, we witnessed the power of families coming together.

Congratulations to all our participants, families, and award winners. Whether you crossed the finish line first or simply ran alongside your loved ones, your presence made this event meaningful and memorable.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Iloilo City Government for allowing us to hold this activity, the Office of Mayor Raisa Treñas for the video message, Moi Salomon Jr. for helping facilitate the event, Rhea B. Valdellon, OIC-Protective Services Division Chief of DSWD Region VI, for being our guest speaker, and Councilor Sedfrey Cabaluna for running with us and delivering uplifting remarks.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to the Stake Presidencies and Bishoprics of the Iloilo Stake, Iloilo Central Stake, and Iloilo North Stake for their unwavering support and to every volunteer who helped bring this event to life.

Most importantly, thank you to all who came, ran, cheered, and celebrated with us. Together, we made this more than just a fun run. We made it a celebration of forever families.

A Historic Day: The First Bishopric of Zarraga Ward

A truly memorable and blessed occasion unfolded on September 27, 2026, as the faithful Saints of Zarraga gathered for a special sacrament service to mark a remarkable milestone in their journey of faith. With joyful hearts and spirits full of gratitude, the congregation witnessed the official transition from Zarraga Branch to Zarraga Ward—a moment long anticipated and deeply cherished.

It was on this sacred day that the very first bishopric of Zarraga Ward was sustained and called to serve. Leading the ward as Bishop is Danel October B. Beriong, who will serve alongside his dedicated counselors: Cyrus Suya as First Counselor, and Ryan Caymo as Second Counselor.

A new chapter has begun, and the future shines bright. May the Lord bless them, and may He bless every faithful member of Zarraga Ward as they move forward together in unity and love.

Announcement

As we get ready for the Family Color Fun Run 2026, please take note of the following registration reminders to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone:

Family Category Participants registered under the Family Category may claim their race bibs at the Registration Area on the day of the event. We encourage all families to arrive early to allow ample time for registration and preparation before the start of the run.

Individual Category Participants registered under the Individual Category will not be issued race bibs. Instead, all registered runners must obtain an official registration stamp from the Registration Booth before the run. The stamp may be placed on the hand or another preferred visible area.
Please note that only runners with an official registration stamp will be recognized as official finishers.
We look forward to celebrating fitness, family, and togetherness with you. Thank you for your cooperation, and see you at the starting line!
