Bacolod Temple Dedication Live Broadcast

We are so excited to invite you to join us as we gather together to watch the dedication of the Bacolod Philippines Temple! This is a sacred and joyous occasion as we celebrate the dedication of the Lord’s house in our land – a place where we can draw closer to Him, make sacred covenants, and receive blessings that will last for eternity.

As we prepare for this special day, please remember to bring the following important items with you:
• Your current Temple Recommend
•Your current recommend for proxy baptism and confirmation
•Your Dedication Card for 8-11 years old
• A white handkerchief – to be used as we wave in celebration during the broadcast

Come with open hearts, thankful spirits, and a desire to rejoice together. Let us stand together in faith and gratitude as we witness this wonderful blessing from our Heavenly Father.

The Dagyaw sang mga Baganihan is a community-centered initiative aimed at promoting volunteerism, strengthening partnerships, and addressing public health needs through collective action. This activity focused on a bloodletting program designed to support the increasing demand for safe and sufficient blood supply in medical institutions.

The activity was conducted with the following objectives:
To augment the blood supply of the Western Visayas Medical Center Blood Bank
To promote awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation
To encourage community participation in life-saving initiatives
To strengthen collaboration among partner organizations and the local government unit

The success of the activity was made possible through Partnerships of The Iloilo Philippines North Stake with following institutions:
Western Visayas Medical Center Blood Bank ( Bloodletting )
West Visayas State University – AMSA ( Circumcision )
Barangay Bacay, Dumangas and
Rotary Club

The Dagyaw sang mga Baganihan was successfully held at Barangay Bacay, Dumangas, Iloilo, with active participation from community members, volunteers, and partner organizations.
The event primarily featured a bloodletting activity, wherein qualified donors from the community willingly contributed blood to help patients in need. Medical personnel from the Western Visayas Medical Center ensured that all procedures were conducted safely and in accordance with health protocols.

Doctors and Student volunteers from West Visayas State University – AMSA played a vital role conducting a circumcision. Meanwhile, the Barangay Officials of Bacay provided logistical support and mobilized residents to participate in the activity.
The Rotary Club also extending their support in Conducting a HIV Screening
The spirit of bayanihan was evident throughout the activity, as individuals from different sectors came together for a common cause—saving lives.

The Dagyaw sang mga Baganihan proved to be a successful and impactful initiative that highlighted the power of unity, compassion, and collaboration. A Journey of Service and Unity

On the morning of April 28, the members of the Iloilo North Stake rose with the dawn, their hearts already turned toward Bacolod. They knew this was more than just a trip; it was a sacred assignment—to stand as ushers and guides at the Open House of the Bacolod Temple.

As they gathered before its gleaming walls, the inscription "HOLINESS TO THE LORD- THE HOUSE OF THE LORD" seemed to glow with a light of its own. They had come from every corner of the stake, from different wards and branches, crossing miles and time to be there. Though the journey was long, weariness had no place among them. Instead, their spirits were lifted, filled with a quiet reverence and the profound joy of being counted worthy to serve in such a holy place.

Dressed in their best, they stood as one—a living testament to faith and fellowship. Leaders, youth, brothers and sisters, all woven together in love. When they posed for that photo, they captured not just an image, but the very presence of the Spirit, binding them in a unity that transcended distance and difference.

Inside, they moved with gentle purpose. They became the hands and voices of welcome, leading visitors through rooms filled with peace and symbolism. With every question answered, every direction given, they were sharing something divine. They did not merely open doors; they opened hearts to witness that this is indeed the house of God.

When the day ended, their bodies were tired but their souls were full. They had touched history, yes, but more importantly, they had felt the love of the Savior in their service. As they turned to leave, carrying the memory of that sacred ground, they also carried a renewed testimony: that when we give of ourselves, we draw closer to heaven, and that no path is too far when it leads us home to Him.
