Grateful for the blessings and laughter we shared at our late New Year's party! 🙏💕 Our First Director, Rev. Fr. Joel Rudi, led us in a meaningful mass and we got to celebrate together as a family. And big thanks to our present Director, Rev. Msgr. "Bing" Padilla for joining us too during our games and funs😁🥰❤️ Feeling so blessed to have this community, these memories, and the love we share 💕 Cheers to new beginnings and cherished moments🤗💕

The 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas is a significant event that highlighted the organization's mission to empower the laity in the Philippines.

Overall, the best lessons revolved around the themes of empowerment, journeying together, and being pilgrims of hope, with a focus on renewing and re-evangelizing the Church and Society.

It's great to be part of the 75th Laiko Convention - inspiring and uplifting🙏❤️

8/15/25 After two(2) series of pilgrimages to 4 pilgrimage churches, the Commission on Laity took a break to discern their pilgrimage journeying. This was to evaluate and improve the the 3rd series - the Pilgrimage Finale scheduled on Oct. 3.

The discerning process was through Faith Sharing. It involved sharing personal stories, reflections and insights. Likewise, it was a meaningful way to build relationships and grow in one's faith.

Our Resource Speaker, Dean Biboy Dicen guided us into this powerful way to grow spiritually and build meaningful connections❤️

7/18/25❤️ Serving in church can be such a rewarding experience. But we often wonder how to balance service with other responsibilities like work and family. The topic LAIKO QUEST IN FAITH AND MISSION DEEPENING was given to us by REV. FR. Elbert Balbastro, MSSC, a Columban priest missionary who have extensive experience in mission and faith formation. @50 lay leaders attended the said formation.

06/20/25 The Commission on Laity (COL), Archdiocese of Jaro, IN A SPIRITUAL DETOX🙏❤️

The 79 Laity delegates of different Lay Religious Organizations, stepped out in their daily routine and had their Part 2 Jubilee Pilgrimage in the 3 Jubilee Churches:
- Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles Parish, Btac. Viejo, Iloilo
- Patronage of St. Joseph Parish, Pototan, Iloilo, and
- St. Nicholas of Tolentino Parish, Cabatuan, Iloilo.

It was a journey of self reflection, devotion and connecting with something greater than ourselves.

A transformative experience was made whole during the healing mass, together with the veneration of the relic of St. Padre Pio, at SAINT PADRE PIO OF PIETRELCINA CHAPEL Pototan, Iloilo. It was officiated by Rev. Fr. Rolly Ocampo, MHISM.

The experience also fostered a sense of community and service, as we fulfilled our Works of Mercy with 50 indigent beneficiaries of the Foundation of the Missionary of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, were invited and treated to a Jolibee Party. Seeing the joys of the children, made one gain a fresh perspective of life.

This camaraderie can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth, healing and spiritual renewal.
