🙌We praise the Lord for the amazing opportunity to have our campus fellowship at ISAT U last Tuesday and in the previous weeks. The gatherings are filled with grace and His presence, whether we are few or many, regardless of our ages or even our sinfulness.
God reminded us of His kindness and mercy through the passage from Luke 18:1-8. This parable, which Jesus told His disciples, encourages us to be more prayerful and to persevere. In the parable, Jesus describes a widow who persistently seeks justice from an unjust judge. The judge, who neither fears God nor respects people, initially refuses her request. However, due to her relentless persistence, he eventually grants her justice to avoid further annoyance.
Jesus concluded the parable by saying that if an unjust judge can be moved, how much more will God, who is loving and just, respond to those who cry out to Him day and night? God assures us that He hears us when we ask Him without ceasing, just like the widow. Surely, in His due time, we will receive what we ask of Him according to His will. We need to be faithful in prayer, regardless of how long it takes for answers to come.
Jesus added a final question: "However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" In this race of life, with its many obstacles and delays, will Jesus find His chosen ones still faithful when He returns? Jesus is urging us to strengthen our faith by persistently asking Him, as He will surely sustain and care for us, even when it may not seem so.
See you again, ISAT U Faithbookers, every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the COE, N-Building, ground floor room.
