60 youth from Iloilo Central Stake, with their leaders, made the spiritual journey to Cebu Philippines Temple on Mar 11-12, 2026.

Through devotionals, testimony sharing, fun, and games, they strengthened their bonds and performed baptisms for the dead.

A memorable trip, and possibly the last to Cebu as we eagerly await Bacolod Temple's opening in May!✨🧡

𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬—𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲. 📚✨

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, saints from the 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 gathered with members from 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 for a 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐘𝐔–𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. During this uplifting event, zone leaders and BYU–Pathway facilitators shared the 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐞, and answered questions from those interested in continuing their education.

We are grateful for the dedicated service couple missionaries and volunteers who helped make this devotional possible. Their service is truly a blessing.

"Let God Prevail" (Genesis 24–33) 🧡

This week, we follow the journey of Jacob—a man who spent years trying to get ahead by taking the place of others, only to realize that God’s greatest blessings aren't won, seized, or taken from someone else. They are given freely to those who simply make room for Him.

We all have moments where we struggle with challenges, our past, or our own weaknesses. But like Jacob, who became Israel, we find our true strength when we stop trying to do it all on our own and finally decide to let God prevail.

Let us all be reminded that our worth isn't found in being first or being better than others—it’s found in the quiet, humble decision to let Him be the center of our lives. As we walk this covenant path, may we find the peace that comes from trusting His hand over our own. 🏔️✨

With hearts centered on the Savior, the Central Stake came together to celebrate a beautiful Valentine’s gathering focused on Jesus Christ, family, and Christlike love. Through music, fellowship, and meaningful moments, members strengthened their relationships and renewed their commitment to love one another as the Lord has taught.

On Monday, February 23, 2026, the location of the Iloilo Philippines Temple was announced as a 7.7-acre site located along Circumferential Road 1 at its intersection with Green Meadows Avenue in the Tacas neighborhood (barangay) of the Jaro district of Iloilo City. Plans call for a single-story, 18,850 square-foot temple, along with facilities for patron housing, an arrival center, a distribution center, and a meetinghouse. "Is any thing too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14)

This week, we walk with Abraham and Sarah through a season of waiting, testing, and ultimately, a miracle. Their story is a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is rarely our timing, but His promises are always sure.

Sometimes life asks us to wait much longer than we expected, or to let go of things that are incredibly dear to us. In those moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

As you study Come, Follow Me this week, you’ll see that our trials aren't just meant to test us, but to help us become more like Him. Every step we take in faith—especially the difficult ones—is an opportunity for the Lord to refine our hearts and strengthen our resolve. We aren't just surviving these moments; we are being shaped by a Father who loves us perfectly as we walk by His side.✨
