Today, the world stands still. The bells are silent, the altars are bare, and we find ourselves at the foot of the Cross, witnessing the ultimate act of love:
"It is finished." (John 19:30)

In the quiet of this day, we remember that Jesus didnโ€™t just die for the worldโ€”He died for you. Every drop of blood and every labored breath was a profound "Yes" to your soul.

A Moment for the Heart
As we observe the solemnity of this Good Friday, let us look inward and ask:
What "cross" am I carrying today? Is it a burden of worry, a hidden grief, or a struggle known only to God?

Whatever it is, you do not walk alone. Jesus traveled the road to Calvary so that He could walk every difficult path of your life right beside you. Today, we lay our burdens at His feet, trusting that even in the darkest Friday, there is the certain promise of a Sunday yet to come.

"Lord Jesus, thank You for Your immense sacrifice.
When I am weak, remind me of Your strength on the Cross.
When I feel lost, remind me of the price You paid to find me.
As I witness Your Passion today, wash my heart clean

Ang Via Crucis nagapahanumdom sa aton nga si Jesus wala nagpasan-o sang Iya krus nga nagaisahanon. Ginhimo Niya ini sa tunga sang kadam-an, kag may Simon pa nga nagbulig sa Iya.

Kon kita naga-upod sa sini nga paglakat, ginasiling naton sa aton isig-katawo:
"Yari ako para sa imo, kag yari ka para sa akon."

Holy Wednesday: Examining Our Hearts

Today is traditionally known as "Spy Wednesday." It marks the moment in the Gospel where the shadows grow longer the day Judas made his quiet choice in the dark. But for us today, it isn't about pointing fingers at the past; itโ€™s about looking into our own hearts right now.

A Short Reflection:
Sa aton pagpangabuhi subong nga adlaw, letโ€™s "spy" on our own intentions. Sometimes, we "trade" our time with God for the "silver" of busyness, stress, or pride. Today is the perfect time to bring those hidden corners of our hearts back into His light before the Holy Triduum begins tomorrow.

Letโ€™s choose to stay loyal to the One who never leaves our side.

Prayer:
Lord, search my heart today.

Spy out the parts of me that are tired, distant, or afraid. Cleanse my intentions and help me to choose You above all else. As we prepare for the sacred days ahead, keep my feet on the path of Your love.

After the crowds of Palm Sunday, today invites us into a quieter space. We remember Mary of Bethany, who anointed the feet of Jesus with costly perfume, filling the entire house with its fragrance.

A Holy Monday Prayer
Pause for a moment in your busy day and pray:

Lord Jesus,

Yesterday I cheered for You. Today, I want to serve You.
Like Mary of Bethany, help me to give You my very best
and not just my 'leftover' time or energy.

Anoint my heart today with Your peace.
May my words be kind, my patience be long,
and my actions reflect the love You showed us
on the road to Calvary.

Fill the 'house' of my soul with the fragrance of Your Spirit,
so that everyone I meet today might catch a glimpse of Your grace.

Palm Sunday

When we hold our palms today, we aren't just holding a branch we are holding a symbol of our own lives.

Think of the crowd in Jerusalem. They weren't perfect people; they were people like us. They had worries about their families, hopes for their future, and a deep hunger for peace. They threw down their cloaks because they recognized that Hope had finally arrived in their city.

When we process with our palms, we are telling the world (and ourselves) that even in a chaotic life, we still choose to welcome the Light. We are saying that despite our struggles, we believe in a King who leads with humility and love.

As you take your palms home today and tuck them behind a crucifix or a picture frame, let them be a quiet "Welcome" sign in your house. Let them remind you all week long that the Prince of Peace is a guest in your home.

PRAYER:
Lord,

Today my 'Hosanna' is loud and joyful.
Thank You for the beauty of this community and the
vibrancy of this celebration.

As I carry this palm, help me to carry Your peace.
When the week gets busy and the 'Hosannas' fade into
the noise of daily life,
bring my heart back to this moment.

Let this green branch be a reminder
that You are always growing something new in me,
even in the desert.

Guide my steps this week as I walk with You.
