Today, we join the universal Church in a joyous celebration honoring St. Josemaria Escriva,Founder of Opus Dei.

A profound teacher of the faith, St. Josemaria Escriva championed the beautiful truth that every ordinary task, when done with great love and dedication, can become a pathway to holiness. Whether in our studies, our daily work, or our humble service at the altar, we are constantly called to encounter Christ in the everyday moments of our lives.

As we commemorate his life and enduring legacy today, may we be deeply inspired to sanctify our daily duties and offer all our actions for the greater glory of God. May his continuous intercession guide, protect, and bless our parish community.

Today, we pause to honor our priests — men chosen by God to shepherd His people, to guide us in faith, and to lead us closer to Christ through prayer and service. Their lives are a living testimony of sacrifice, humility, and unwavering devotion.

Every Mass they celebrate, every blessing they impart, and every prayer they lift up is a reminder that the priesthood is not just a vocation, but a profound gift to the Church. Distance cannot separate us when we are united in faith and compassion. Our hearts are heavy today as we witness the aftermath of the powerful earthquake that shook Southern Mindanao.

The Ministry of Altar Servers of our Lady Of Fatima urge everyone to take a moment of silence. Let us ask our Blessed Mother to wrap her mantle of protection around Mindanao.

We pray for resilience, rapid relief, and the comfort that only the Holy Spirit can provide during this dark time.
