Wishing a very happy and blessed birthday to our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV! Today, we celebrate his life, his gentle humility, and his deep devotion to guiding the Church. May God grant him strong health and endless joy today and always.

As we celebrate this special day, we pray that his leadership continues to guide and inspire the faithful to walk in faith. May the Holy Spirit fill his heart with divine peace, and may he be strengthened daily as he shepherds the global flock with love and courage.

Even though a few days have passed since September 8, the warmth, joy, and spiritual blessing of that day still linger beautifully in our parish! We want to take a moment to look back and share our immense gratitude for the wonderful birthday celebration of our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Baltazar Bandua.

Sharing a birthday with the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is such a beautiful testament to Fr. Bang's life of service. Seeing our parish community come together to honor him was a true reflection of how deeply he is loved, respected, and cherished as our spiritual father.

Fr. Bang, thank you for your faithful Yes to God's calling, and for the tireless dedication you pour into our parish family every single day. You are more than just our priest, you are a true guide, a compassionate counselor, and a steadfast anchor for our community. Through your inspiring homilies, your quiet humility, and your selfless service, you consistently show us what it means to live out the Gospel.

Today, our parish community comes together to thank God for the gift of your life and your dedicated service.

Today, the church rejoices, celebrating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Her birth is a beautiful reminder that God works in quiet ways. Long before she became the mother of Jesus, her arrival brought a fresh sense of hope and light to a dark world, showing us that something wonderful was about to happen.

Maryโ€™s life shows us how to be truly strong. She faced many difficult times and deep sadness, but she always kept a calm and peaceful heart. She teaches us that we do not need to be loud to be strong; we just need to trust completely and keep moving forward with faith.

As we celebrate our Heavenly Mother's birthday today, let us look at how we live each day. May her gentle example help us to be kinder to others, more patient when things are hard, and more loving to everyone around us.

From the heart of Diocese Kabankalan to the welcoming arms of the Diocese of Bacolodโ€”a shepherd takes his next faithful step.

Yesterday, as Bishop Louie bids a grateful farewell to the Diocese of Kabankalan, he walked forward to begin his new mission leading the Diocese of Bacolod. One journey concludes with gratitude; another begins in hope, bound together by the same steadfast faith.
May God bless and guide Bishop Louie as he takes his first steps in his new home.
