From the heart of Diocese Kabankalan to the welcoming arms of the Diocese of Bacolodโ€”a shepherd takes his next faithful step.

Yesterday, as Bishop Louie bids a grateful farewell to the Diocese of Kabankalan, he walked forward to begin his new mission leading the Diocese of Bacolod. One journey concludes with gratitude; another begins in hope, bound together by the same steadfast faith.
May God bless and guide Bishop Louie as he takes his first steps in his new home.

With grateful hearts, we thank you for the way you walked with us as our shepherd.
Thank you for the time you gave to visit our parishes, for the homilies that spoke straight to our hearts, and for the quiet kindness we saw in how you treated everyone from the youngest to the elders.
You showed us that leadership in the Church means listening, praying, and serving first.

Because of your guidance, our faith grew deeper.
Because of your example, more of us were inspired to serve, to forgive, and to love like Christ.
Your presence reminded us that we are not alone that God is with us through His Church and through shepherds like you.

As you walk the path the Lord has set before you, please know that our parish family at Immaculate Conception Parish - Dancalan lifts you up daily in prayer. Today, the Immaculate Conception Parish - Dancalan Youth Ministry gathered once again for our monthly youth gathering.

We had the privilege of listening to our resource speaker, Sister Linlee Vios. She opened up to us and shared her vocation story, the joys, the struggles, the doubts, and the beautiful ways God showed up in every season of her life.

Through her witness, we were reminded that faith strengthens the weary, forms the willing, and always draws us closer to the heart of God.

Thank you, Sister Linlee, for your time, and for being a living witness that saying โ€œyesโ€ to God, even with trembling hands, can lead to the most beautiful purpose.

To my Dancalan Youth family letโ€™s keep showing up for each other. Letโ€™s keep growing, learning, and walking together in faith. Because in community, we are reminded that we are never alone in this journey ๐Ÿ™โœจ*
