𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬

During the 10:00 AM Worship Service, our congregation joyfully celebrated the Installation of the newly elected Church Council Officers and the Recognition of the Officers of our Church Recognized Organizations.

This meaningful occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and service within our church. As these leaders accept their responsibilities, we lift them up in prayer, asking God to grant them wisdom, strength, humility, and a heart for ministry.

We thank all those who have answered God's call to serve and commit themselves to the work of the Church. May their leadership inspire unity, faithfulness, and active participation in the mission of Christ.

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” – Ephesians 6:7

Congratulations to all our newly installed and recognized officers. May God's guidance and blessings be upon you as you faithfully serve His Church and His people.

for being declared as the Winning Entry recipient in the UCCP 13th Quadrennial Song Writing Contest 2026 for Year 4 with her inspiring composition, “We Walk Beside the Savior.” ✨

This remarkable achievement reflects not only her exceptional talent in songwriting, but also her passion and dedication in using music as a powerful expression of faith, hope, and unity. Her composition beautifully captures the spirit and message of the celebration, inspiring many through its meaningful lyrics and heartfelt message.

May this milestone continue to inspire others to share their gifts and creativity in service and praise. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors.

Before the sun rises, hope begins to stir.

In the quiet of dawn, the stone is already rolled away.
What was once sealed in sorrow is now opened in victory.
Death has lost its hold, and love has the final word.

The grave is empty—
and in that emptiness, we find fullness of life.

the promise that lives on.

A new day has come.
A new life is given.

The day feels heavier.
Quieter.

The sky bears witness as love is stretched upon a cross—
not taken, but freely given.

There are no grand words today, only silence that speaks,
only a Savior who chose to stay,
to suffer, to forgive, and to carry the weight of the world.

“𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥.” – 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 19:30

In that moment, what seemed like an ending
became the beginning of grace—
a love poured out completely,
a sacrifice that made a way for us to be made whole.

This Good Friday, we remember.
We reflect.
We stand in awe of a love that gave everything—
and still chooses us.

𝘔𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 | 6:00𝘗𝘔

The night begins quietly.

A table is prepared. Bread is broken. A cup is shared. In these simple acts, love is revealed—not in grand displays, but in presence.

He rises from the table, kneels down, and washes the feet of His disciples. The Teacher becomes the servant, showing that true greatness is found in humility and love.

Words are spoken that will echo through time:
“Do this in remembrance of me.” - Luke 22:19

Yet beyond the table, the night grows heavier. In the garden, a prayer is whispered—honest, trembling, surrendered. A heart choosing obedience, even in the face of suffering.

This is Maundy Thursday.

A story of love that serves.
A love that stays.
A love that gives itself fully.

Here are some of the upcoming activities in our church for the next few months. We encourage everyone to take note of the dates and join whenever you can as we gather for worship, fellowship, and service.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 | 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟒

The United Church of Christ in the Philippines – Iligan City warmly invites children, youth, and adults aged 12 and above to join our upcoming Communicants Class.

This class is a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and spiritual growth, as participants deepen their understanding of the Christian faith, the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and the meaning of becoming part of the Church community. It is also a step toward a deeper commitment to God and active participation in the life of the Church.

The class will begin on February 14, and we encourage everyone who feels called to grow in faith or take this important step in their spiritual journey to join us.
