The newly elected IDYM Executive Committee officially began its three-year journey through a strategic planning activity held on January 24โ25, 2026, at Nenengโs Farm, Linamon, Lanao del Norte. The two-day planning provided space for reflection, evaluation, and vision-setting as the council prepares for a new cycle of leadership and service.
The activity opened with a refresher talk on servant leadership delivered by Rev. Fr. Marbert P. Larede, who reminded the new set of officers of their role as leaders called to serve with humility, faith, and purpose. His message helped ground the planning process in the values of service and mission.
A key part of the planning anchored on evaluating past initiatives by consolidating comments and suggestions from previous meetings. This allowed the Executive Committee to identify areas for improvement, determine which activities to continue or enhance, and set clear directions and objectives for the new cycle.
As the new Executive Committee moves forward, the planning marks a hopeful beginning โ one rooted in shared vision, strengthened collaboration, and a renewed commitment to serving the youth with faith and purpose ๐๐ปโจ
