🌙 Eid Mubarak from WIMSA! 🤍

On this blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha, may our hearts be filled with peace, gratitude, and sincere faith. This celebration reminds us not only of sacrifice and devotion, but also of compassion, humility, and the importance of caring for one another.

May this Eid become a time of healing and forgiveness. Forgiveness for the people who may have hurt us, forgiveness for those we may have wronged, and most especially, forgiveness for ourselves for the burdens we continue to carry silently. May Allah soften our hearts, ease our worries, and guide us toward kindness, understanding, and peace. 🕊️

As we gather with family, friends, and our community, may we continue to strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and brotherhood. Let us share our blessings, spread joy to others, and remember those who are in need through our prayers and generosity.

Today, we celebrate our Registered Criminologist passer of the Criminology Licensure Examination held last February 4, 5, and 6, 2026 — a testament that patience, determination, and trust in Allah SWT always bear fruit at the right time.
The journey was not easy, but through every challenge came growth, resilience, and stronger faith.

This achievement is not yours alone, but also shared with the family who believed, supported, and continuously lifted you up in their duas. May Allah SWT reward them for every sacrifice made behind the scenes.

On February 27, 2026, the Wihdah Muslim Students Association (WiMSA) successfully held its First Free Iftar of the year at the Quadrangle of St. Michael’s College. The gathering brought Muslim students together in a meaningful moment of unity, gratitude, and reflection as they shared the blessings of breaking the fast during the holy month of Ramadhan.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to St. Michael's College of Iligan Inc. for its continuous support to the Muslim student community. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our generous sponsors from the school administration: Sir Korsiney Cabasis, DBA, Vice President for Administration of St. Michael’s College and WiMSA Internal Adviser, and Ma’am Elaine May F. Mangca, CHRA, MBA, whose kindness and generosity made this initiative possible.

Through this activity, the spirit of Ramadhan faith, compassion, and unity was truly felt among the students and members of the community.
May this blessed month continue to inspire us to strengthen our faith, help one another, and spread kindness within St. Michael’s College and beyond.

🌙 ISTIQBAL RAMADHAN: Muslim Students Recollection🌙

On February 19, 2026, the Muslim Students Recollection for the Higher Education Department was successfully conducted as part of the Istiqbal Ramadhan, a meaningful initiative to welcome and prepare for the blessed month of Ramadhan.

The activity served as a moment of reflection and learning for students, reminding everyone that Ramadhan is not only about fasting but also about strengthening faith, cultivating discipline, and developing good character. Through the inspiring session delivered by the guest speaker, participants gained valuable insights on:

• The importance of Ramadhan in shaping good character
• Behaviors that should be avoided during the holy month
• Practical ways to build virtuous character in daily life

The program also included an interactive sharing session and open forum, allowing students to ask questions and deepen their understanding of the spiritual significance of Ramadhan. The event concluded with the giving of certificates, a group photo, and a closing prayer, marking a meaningful start in preparing the hearts and minds of students for the holy month.

We extend our sincere gratitude to St. Michael's College of Iligan Inc. school administrations for their continued support in making this meaningful activity possible. Our heartfelt appreciation is also extended to the Vice President for Administration Sir Korsiney Cabasis, DBA, who also serves as the WiMSA Internal Adviser, for the guidance and unwavering support given to the Muslim students and the organization. We are also grateful to Ma’am Ruby D. Palos, MA, for providing a wonderful and inspiring insight during the closing remarks.

Special thanks to our esteemed speaker, Ustadh Abduljabbar A. Montaner (WiMSA External Adviser), for sharing valuable knowledge and reminders about the significance of Ramadhan and the importance of nurturing good character.

Lastly, our appreciation goes to all WiMSA Officers whose dedication, teamwork, and commitment greatly contributed to the success of this event.
