Dokimos/Care Group

James 1:12 (NIV)
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

Being a Dokimos disciple means remaining faithful even through challenges. A true disciple is proven by obedience, shaped by God’s Word, and committed to serving with humility and loyalty. Even in difficult seasons, we continue to stand firm in faith and walk according to His purpose.

2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV)
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

It's about being approved by God—just like “dokimos.” It means a true disciple is tested, faithful, and committed to doing what is right. A dokimos disciple studies God’s Word, lives it out, and stands firm even when it’s hard.
