As our teaching night draws closer to an end, Brod. Joe Yamamoto shared his words of wisdom. Prompting us to reflect on our commitment as Couples for Christ, he reminisced his experiences in the community. He describes the CFC Community’s presence in our society as “a transforming arm in repairing relationships in the family”.

As we come together in joyous celebration, may we embody our roles and identities as Couples for Christ. Let us continue to be God’s tool in winning the war of Christ.

Br. Loren Pendang highlighted that we may have different colors and functions, but we are united by the same Christ-centered mission and vision.

Indeed, this is the day the Lord has made. As we continue to celebrate our 37th Anniversary, let’s not just be here for the festivities, but let this be our strong act of conviction for saying yes to the mission.

Happy happy 37th anniversary CFC-LDN!!! Praise the LORD for all the wonderful things HE has allowed us to experience and celebrate! Mga Igsoon kita kits this 5:30-8:30PM for our teaching night sa PMC.

All CFC leaders are expected to attend, our member brethren are also encourage to participate. By the LORDs grace our CFC Chairman and President, Bro Joe Yamamoto and CFC executive director, Bro Arnel Santos will be our speakers.

Ebanghelyo: Juan 11:19-27
Marami sa mga Judio ang pumunta kina Marta at Maria upang makiramay sa kanila dahil sa pagyao ng kanilang kapatid. Kaya pagkarinig ni Marta na dumarating si Hesus, sinalubong niya ito. Si Maria naman ay nakaupo sa bahay. At sinabi ni Marta kay Hesus: “Panginoon, kung naririto ka, hindi sana namatay ang kapatid ko. Subalit kahit na ngayon, alam kong anuman ang hilingin mo sa Diyos, ibibigay ito sa iyo ng Diyos.” Sinabi sa kanya ni Hesus: “Babangon ang kapatid mo.” Sumagot sa kanya si Marta: “Alam ko na babangon siya sa muling pagkabuhay sa huling araw.” Sinabi sa kanya ni Hesus: “Ako ang muling pagkabuhay at ang buhay. Mabubuhay ang naniniwala sa akin kahit na siya ay mamatay. Hinding-hindi mamamatay ang bawat nabubuhay sa paniniwala sa akin. Pinaniniwalaan mo ba ito?” Sinabi niya sa kanya: “Opo, Panginoon. Naniniwala nga ako na ikaw ang Kristo, ang Anak ng Diyos na dumarating sa mundo.”

Pagninilay:
Mga kapanalig, ang kwento nina Marta, Maria at Lazaro - ang magkakapatid na kaibigan ng Panginoong Hesus, ay isa sa mga “familiar stories” sa biblia. Isang kwento na nagbibigay sa atin ng pag-asa, sa ating muling pagkabuhay sa langit. Sobrang kalungkutan at hapis ang nadama ng magkapatid na Maria at Marta sa pagkamatay ni Lazaro. Hindi agad sila naniwala sa ating Panginoong Hesus ng kanyang sinabi, “Muling mabubuhay ang iyong kapatid.” Sa pagpapatuloy ng kwento, binuhay nga ng Panginoon si Lazaro. Ang kamatayan ay isang realidad sa ating buhay na hindi natin matatakasan. Kailangan natin ang pananampalataya sa Panginoon upang lubos nating maintindihan at maisabuhay ang turo ng simbahan tungkol dito. Paalala ito, na tayo’y mga “pilgrims” o pawang manlalakbay lamang dito sa lupa, at ang tunay nating tahanan ay ang langit, ang buhay na walang hanggan kasama ang ating Panginoon. Kaya sinabi niya – “Ako ang muling pagkabuhay at ang buhay.” Kaya ang salitang sumakabilang buhay ay mas makahulugan para sa atin, kesa sa salitang namatay. Hangad natin na makamit ang buhay na walang hanggan, sa tulong ng grasya ng Panginoon kapag sumakabilang buhay na tayo. Kaya habang nabubuhay pa tayo sa mundo, sikapin nating mamuhay ayon sa kalooban ng Diyos, sa pamamagitan ng pagtupad ng Kanyang utos na magmahal, sa Diyos nang higit sa lahat, at sa kapwa gaya ng sarili. Ito ang magiging ticket natin pagpasok sa Kaharian ng Langit.

The disciples approached Jesus and said, "Why do you speak to them in parables?"
He said to them in reply, "Because knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.
To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
This is why I speak to them in parables, because 'they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.'"
Isaiah's prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: 'You shall indeed hear but not understand you shall indeed look but never see.
Gross is the heart of this people, they will hardly hear with their ears, they have closed their eyes, lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted, and I heal them.'
But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear.
Amen, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it".
