Tonight’s Couples Bible Study was such an eye-opener. It’s hard to ignore how much we’re living in the exact times 2 Timothy 3:1–6 describes—a world where self-love comes first, walking away is normalized the moment things get hard, and commitments only last as long as they’re convenient.
It is so easy for that worldly mindset to slide into our own homes without us even realizing it. But tonight, we were reminded that Jesus calls us to live otherwise.
This is where the blessing of a support group comes in. We weren't meant to do marriage all by ourselves! Having a community of believers around you keeps you anchored when the world tries to pull you away.
Praying for every couple here to continually choose covenant over culture, grace over greed, and Jesus above all else.
