We warmly invite all FDYO members of the Diocese to come together for an afternoon of fellowship, formation, sharing, and strengthening our unity as one Federation. This is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow members, build meaningful relationships, share experiences, and renew our commitment to our mission as young people in the Church.

CHOOSING CHRIST AMIDST DISTRACTIONS AND TEMPTATIONS

📖 Gospel Reading | Mt 15:21–28 (The Faith of the Canaanite Woman)
🗣️ Speaker | Rev. Fr. Paschal Dakurah, CSSp

Yesterday’s prayer meeting reminded us that following Christ is a daily choice. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, we are called to remain focused on God, our purpose, and the mission He has entrusted to each of us.

Through the story of the Canaanite woman, Fr. Paschal reminded us of the power of faith, perseverance, humility, self-control, and self-discipline. Despite silence, discouragement, and challenges, she never gave up. Her persistent faith brought her closer to Jesus.

As young people, may we not allow social media, online games, gambling, alcohol, peer pressure, and other worldly distractions and temptations to lead us away from the path God has prepared for us. May we learn to practice self-control—to say “NO” to what leads us away from God—and self-discipline—to consistently choose what is good, right, and pleasing to Him.

Instead, may we remember our Creator in the days of our youth, choose Christ early, and live according to His purpose.

Our life is a gift. Our life is a mission. And every day, we are given the choice: Who will we follow?

May we always choose Christ. Resist temptation. Practice self-control. Build self-discipline. Stay faithful. 🤍

🌊 Coastal Clean-Up Activity

Today, we joined hands in caring for our common home through our Coastal Clean-Up Activity at Barangay Tibanga, Iligan City. What may seem like a simple act of picking up waste is, in reality, a powerful expression of our love for the environment and our commitment to the community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Captain Lou Daryl Paterno, Kagawad Victor, and SK Kagawad Daisy Jane Sagario for your generous support and partnership in making this meaningful initiative possible

Thank you for your inspiring teachings, your encouragement, and for leading us closer to God through both your words and your example.

Every prayer begins with knowing who God is—our loving Father. 🤍

Yesterday, our children learned the Lord's Prayer, the beautiful prayer Jesus taught His disciples. May they continue to pray with sincere hearts, trust in God's love, and live according to His will each day.

"Your kingdom come, your will be done." — Matthew 6:10 🙏

Our sincere gratitude to our speakers, facilitators, and volunteers for your dedication and joyful service. Thank you for sharing your faith, guiding our children with patience and love, and helping them grow closer to Jesus.
