Exam week is here. 📝 As we prepare ourselves for our exams, let us also prepare our hearts by turning to Allah through du'a.

When things feel difficult, ask Allah for ease. When you feel nervous about speaking or answering, ask Him to make your words clear. When you struggle to remember what you studied, ask Him for beneficial knowledge and understanding.

“My Allah, increase me in knowledge.”
— Qur’an 20:114

These du'as remind us that while we work hard and do our best, Allah is the One who grants ease, knowledge, and success. So study diligently, make sincere du'a, and place your trust in Him.

May Allah ease every exam, strengthen our understanding and memory, bless our efforts, and grant us success that is beneficial in this life and the next. Ameen. 🤍

The Medical Muslim Student Association (MMSA) proudly participated in the Awareness and Consultation Meeting with Al-Jalis As-Salih, in coordination with the NCMF Iligan Field Office, held on August 25, 2026.

Together with Muslim Student Associations (MSAs) from different schools across Iligan City, we came together to discuss Hijab awareness, Muslim student rights, leadership, unity, and the concerns of Muslim students.

The consultation focused on Hijab awareness, Muslim student rights, leadership, and unity. It provided an opportunity for Muslim students to learn, share concerns, and strengthen our collective voice. 🧕🏻🤝🏻

MMSA remains committed to serving, representing, and empowering Muslim students through unity, awareness, and meaningful participation.
Together, we learn. We stand. We represent.

ISLAMIC AWARENESS SEMINAR

“Pagmamahal o Pagmamalabis: The Boundaries of Love and Following the Sunnah”

Alhamdulillah! The Medical Muslim Student Association (MMSA), together with its dedicated officers, volunteers, and members, proudly joined the Islamic Awareness Seminar held at Al-Jalis As-Salih.

With the meaningful theme, “Pagmamahal o Pagmamalabis: The Boundaries of Love and Following the Sunnah,” the seminar became a valuable opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of what it truly means to love our beloved Messenger, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ—not only through words, but through learning, understanding, and following his authentic Sunnah.

“Say, [O Muhammad], ‘If you should love Allah, then follow me, so Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.’”
— Qur’an 3:31

This verse reminds us that true love for Allah is demonstrated through following the Messenger ﷺ. Our love should not stop at admiration; it should inspire us to learn his teachings, follow his authentic Sunnah, and apply his beautiful example in our daily lives.

Through the seminar, we learned more about the life and sacrifices of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his immense love and concern for his Ummah, his patience and compassion, and his deep devotion and obedience to Allah ﷻ. His life teaches us how to love with sincerity, worship with humility, and live with purpose.

This seminar enlightened us to love with knowledge, follow with sincerity, and practice the Sunnah with wisdom.

Alhamdulillah for another meaningful opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow in our Deen. May Allah ﷻ increase us in beneficial knowledge, strengthen our love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and guide us to follow his authentic Sunnah with sincerity and understanding. AMEEN.

“Ang Hangganan ng Pagmamahal at Pagsunod sa Sunnah”

Paano ba natin tunay na ipinapakita ang ating pagmamahal kay Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?

Ang pagmamahal sa Sugo ni Propeta Muhammad ﷺ ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa damdamin o sa mga nakasanayang expression ng pagmamahal. Ang tunay na pagmamahal ay dapat nakabatay sa Qur’an, authentic Sunnah, tamang kaalaman, pagsunod, at pag-unawa sa halimbawa ng As-Salaf As-Salih.

Sa seminar na ito, pag-uusapan natin ang:

-Ano ang tunay na kahulugan ng pagmamahal sa Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?
-Paano ipinapakita ang pagmamahal sa pamamagitan ng pagsunod sa Sunnah?
-Ano ang ghuluw o pagmamalabis sa pagmamahal at paggalang?
-Saan nagtatapos ang tamang pagmamahal at nagsisimula ang religious excess?
-Paano natin mas mapapalalim ang ating love for the Messenger ﷺ through knowledge, obedience, and righteous action?

Whether you are a lifelong Muslim, a revert, a new Muslim, or someone who simply wants to learn, you are warmly invited. Walang kailangan ikahiya kung may mga bagay na hindi pa natin alam learning is part of our journey in Islam.

The Muslim Medical Student Association (MMSA) of Iligan Medical Center College proudly took part in Palakasan 2026 through our MMSA Motorcade, coming together in celebration of faith, unity, sisterhood, brotherhood, and sportsmanship.

From the energy of the motorcade to the excitement of the games, every moment reminded us that we are stronger when we stand together. More than a celebration of sports, Palakasan became an opportunity for us to strengthen our bonds, support one another, and represent our Muslim community with pride and good character.

As Allah ﷻ reminds us in the Qur’an:

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
— Qur’an 3:103

May this beautiful reminder continue to guide us to remain united in faith, supportive of one another, and connected as brothers and sisters in Islam.
