2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

“Wag kang papayag na tumatagal ka sa Simbahan, pero di ka lumalago at nababago!”

Ang pananatili sa simbahan nang matagal ay isang malaking biyaya, ngunit hindi sapat na dumadalo lang tayo kung wala namang pagbabago sa ating puso, ugali, at buhay. Ang tunay na layunin ng pakikinig sa Salita ng Diyos ay ang paglago sa pananampalataya at pagiging mas katulad ni Cristo araw-araw.

May mga taong matagal nang nagsisimba pero nananatili pa rin sa dating bisyo, galit, pride, o kawalan ng commitment sa paglilingkod. Ipinapaalala sa atin ng Diyos na ang Kanyang Salita ay dapat magbunga ng pagbabago sa ating buhay, hindi lamang kaalaman sa isip. Ang tunay na Kristiyano ay makikita sa buhay na binago, hindi lang sa tagal ng pagdalo sa simbahan.

Kaya habang tumatagal tayo sa simbahan, siguraduhin nating tayo ay:
• Lumalalim sa relasyon sa Diyos
• Lumalago sa pananampalataya 📖
• Nagiging mas masunurin sa Kanyang kalooban

James 1:22

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
