(PREX)

Akala ko ang PREX ay the usual seminar na puro lecture but this turned out to be one of the best seminars I have attended.”

“Marami akong natutunan, tulad ng paano magpatawad at paano maging bukas sa aking mga kasamahan.”

“Sobrang sarap at gaan sa pakiramdam.”

“Marami akong nakilalang bagong kaibigan.”

“Nakahanap ako ng bagong pamilya.”

These are just some of the testimonies shared by participants of PREX Batch 8 Revival during their graduation ceremony today.

At first, many of them thought it would be a typical seminar filled only with prayers and lectures. But in the end, almost everyone was moved to tears not out of sadness, but because of the love they experienced from their group, the staff, and most especially, from God.

Today, 24 new graduates were added to the more than 60 batches and seven revival batches that now make up the St. James Parish PREX family.

Since its revival this year, PREX has become a monthly parish activity aimed at encouraging and inviting the laity to take an active role in the Church’s evangelizing mission.

​Muling nabuhay ang ating Panginoon! Bilang pakikiisa sa kagalakan ng Easter Sunday, inaanyayahan namin ang lahat ng mga bata na sumali sa ating Easter Egg Hunting Activity bukas!

​Narito ang mahahalagang detalye at paalala para sa lahat:
​📅 Kailan at Saan?
​Araw: Bukas, Easter Sunday/ April 5,2026
​Oras: Pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng Second Mass 8:00am
​Lokasyon: Calvary Hills (Area ng Simbahan)

​⚠️ Mahalagang Paunawa (Calvary Hills Schedule)
​Mangyaring tandaan na ang Calvary Hills ay pansamantalang sarado bukas ng umaga. Magbubukas lamang ito pagkatapos ng Second Mass upang bigyang-daan ang paghahanda at pag-aayos ng ating mga organizers para sa aktibidad.

​📝 Mga Alituntunin sa Egg Hunting:
​Para sa mga Bulilit (Ages 5 & Below): Mayroon tayong Designated Area para sa mga batang edad 5 pababa upang matiyak ang kanilang kaligtasan at kasiyahan.

​Easter Stubs: Lahat ng sasaling bata ay bibigyan ng Easter Stub bago magsimula ang egg hunting.

​❗️ Paalala: Kailangang ipakita at ibigay ang stub na ito para makakuha ng prize. No Stub, No Prize.

​Parental Supervision: Ang bawat bata ay DAPAT may kasamang magulang o guardian sa buong oras ng activity. Siguraduhin nating ligtas at masaya ang lahat!

LOOK | Hundreds of devotees from different places, young and old alike, gathered in deep faith and reverence as they took part in the Good Friday procession of the Santo Entiero.

The sacred event, personally led by Rev. Fr. Perry Coballes, parish priest, became a powerful expression of unity, sacrifice, and devotion as the faithful walked together in prayer, reflecting on the passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ.

More than a tradition, the Good Friday procession holds profound spiritual importance. It serves as a solemn reminder of Christ’s suffering and ultimate sacrifice for humanity inviting everyone to pause, repent, and renew their faith.

For many, it is also a moment of personal offering, where prayers, gratitude, and hopes are silently lifted to God.

Through this shared journey of faith, the community is once again strengthened and bound together by devotion, humility, and love.

LOOK | The St. James the Apostle Parish in Iguig, in coordination with the Local Government Unit, ensures a safe, orderly, and peaceful observance of the Lenten season as pilgrims flock to Calvary Hills today.

With the increasing number of devotees, various agencies and groups have been deployed, including the Iguig Tourism Office, Rural Health Unit, RESCUE 517, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, the PNP and BFP Iguig, as well as church volunteers and private groups to assist and guide pilgrims.

Medical teams and rescue vehicles are also on standby to respond to any emergencies.
