Brothers and sisters, we have our first Filipino Bishop. Glory to God! 💙

What a joyful moment for our church family!

We warmly congratulate our conference superintendent, Rev. Dr. Luther Oconer, on his election as Bishop of Episcopal Area One of the Global Methodist Church.

We have witnessed his faithful leadership firsthand which makes this milestone extra meaningful to us. His episcopal area brings together the annual conferences of Tanzania, Covenant Philippines, India, Mega Manila Philippines, Panama, Mississippi–Western Tennessee, and Trinity. It is a wide and wonderfully diverse field of ministry, and we are grateful that a leader we know and love has been called to help shepherd it.

Congratulations, Bishop-elect Oconer! We are grateful, proud, and excited for all that God will do through your ministry.

BLESSED TO KNOW JESUS!

The greatest blessing is not simply knowing about Jesus- it is knowing who Jesus truly is.
Peter didn’t discover it by human wisdom. The Father revealed it. And when God opens our eyes to see Jesus, everything changes.
Blessed are those who don’t just know His name, but know His identity, His heart, and His Lordship.

“Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.”- Matthew 16:17

It is not us who first seek God; it is God who seeks us!

That is why you should never think that you are too far from God to be reached by Him. No matter how deep your brokenness, your sin, or your struggles may be, they are never deeper than the grace of Jesus.

Every ministry is an opportunity to show the love of Christ.
And every generation has a place in God’s family.

We are not just building programs - we are building people.
We are not simply filling rooms - we are filling hearts with the presence and Word of God.
And we are not doing this for our glory, but for His glory alone!
