If you were at the Iba Philippines Stake on October 3, 2026 you probably already know that this was not your ordinary Saturday. ๐
It started with a motorcade that made its way through the streets, with families showing up in decorated cars, tricycles, and motorcycles, each carrying their own family motto, balloons, and a whole lot of excitement.
There were cars with banners on the front, sides, and back. Tricycles had their own decorations. Even motorcycles had a little something attached behind the rider, while balloons made their way onto helmets. ๐๐
Basically, if it had wheels, it was part of the celebration.
And when everyone finally gathered, the Stake grounds slowly turned into something that felt a lot like a ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ.
There were games for everyone. The Primary children had their own moments of fun, while the Relief Society, Elders Quorum, and YSAs joined in the different activities as families. There was cheering, running around, laughing, a little bit of competitive spirit, and probably a few people who took the games way too seriously. ๐
Then came the ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐, where the battlefield moved from the streets to the screen. ๐ฎ๐
The Youth and YSAs also gathered for a ๐๐ถ๐น๐บ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ผ๐, and the stage became a place where so many different talents were shared. We got to hear performances from the Youth and YSAs, and even our Stake Presidency and Bishops joined in with their own band performances.
Yes.

And somehow, that made the whole thing even more special.
There were performances, games, laughter, cheering, food, photos, awards, and plenty of moments that probably weren't in the program at all but became part of the memories anyway.
By the end of the day, awards were given to recognize the different events and activities. But beyond the certificates, trophies, and winning teams, there was something else worth celebrating.
The little children running around.
The families cheering for one another.
The youth sharing their talents.
The YSAs showing up and joining in.
The leaders getting on stage and having fun with everyone.
The friends who came early, stayed late, helped behind the scenes, and made sure everything kept moving.
And all those little conversations, laughs, pictures, and "Uy, picture ta!" moments in between. ๐ค
From the motorcade hanggang sa last performance, from MLBB battles to family games, from the little ones in Primary to the Stake Presidency picking up instruments...

It was loud, colorful, chaotic, wholesome, and honestly felt a lot like a
And maybe that's what made it special.
We weren't just celebrating families.
We were being one. ๐ค
A day to remember that families come in different sizes, different personalities, different stories, and different generations, but there is something beautiful about gathering together, making room for one another, and simply enjoying being together.
Because in the end, the best part of Building Forever Families wasn't just what we built for the event.
It was the memories we built with each other.
