The Saint Pedro Calungsod Chaplaincy joyfully participated in the 8th Diocesan Young-Adult Congress held on August 1–2, 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Parish, Hilongos, Leyte, with the inspiring theme:

"Purpose that Endures: Faith that Stands."

Representing our chaplaincy were Rhoy Burlaza and Rodel Elicot, who joined fellow young-adult delegates from the different parishes of the Pacific Vicariate within the Diocese of Maasin.

Over the course of the conference, participants experienced meaningful talks, moments of prayer and worship, fellowship, and activities that deepened their faith and strengthened their commitment to live with purpose as young Catholic leaders.

As we return to our respective communities, may the lessons, friendships, and spiritual renewal gained from this gathering inspire us to continue serving Christ with steadfast faith and joyful hearts.

We thank God for the opportunity to be part of this enriching diocesan event. May we continue to be witnesses of His love and instruments of hope wherever we are called to serve.

With hearts ready to serve and hands willing to help, the youth of COY–Saint Pedro Calungsod actively participated in Brigada Eskwela, joining the collective effort to prepare our school for another meaningful year of learning.

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and community spirit, we contributed to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for students and educators alike.

This activity reflects our commitment to service, stewardship, and being instruments of positive change in our community.

Together, we build not only classrooms but also a stronger culture of cooperation and care.
