Sa paggunita natin sa ika-128 anibersaryo ng kalayaan ng ating bansa, alalahanin natin ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay upang makamit ang ating kasarinlan bilang sambayanang Pilipino.

Bilang mga kaanib ng Iglesia Filipina Independiente, ipinagdiriwang natin ang araw na ito nang may natatanging pagmamalaki, sapagkat ang ating Simbahan ay isinilang mula sa parehong diwa ng nasyonalismo, pananampalataya, at paghahangad ng kalayaan at dignidad para sa sambayanang Pilipino.

Nawaโ€™y magsilbing inspirasyon sa atin ang mga adhikain nina Gregorio Aglipay, Isabelo de los Reyes, at ng ating mga bayani upang patuloy nating mahalin ang Diyos, paglingkuran ang kapwa, at itaguyod ang isang makatarungan, mapayapa, at tunay na malayang bansa.
