“Baptism is not just a document or a paper—it is a responsibility.”
As shared in Father’s homily, our children are a manifestation of the values we teach and live. In the innocence of a child, we are reminded of what it means to be childlike: honest, humble, innocent, loving, and always dependent on God.
Through Infant Baptism, our children are welcomed into the family of God and, through the waters of Baptism, are purified from Original Sin and, as applicable, personal sins. But beyond the sacrament itself comes a lifelong responsibility—to nurture their faith, guide their hearts, and help them grow closer to God.
August 15 — Birth to Faith.
On the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, this child were given a new beginning in the life of faith.
August 16 — Biological Birth.
A reminder that just as she is born into this world, they are also called to be born into a life of faith and grace.
May Ameerah Paulenne L. Tuguinay grow not only in age and wisdom, but in faith, love, humility, and dependence on God. May their parent: Jerene B. Tuguinay and Generose T. Lango, godparents: Marcelino N. Buyuccan, Rheinzyl Lyka Tuguinay, Micheal Gaddang, Nica Rose tayaban, James adhayon, Madeline Hangdaan, Janice Dulnuan and the whole Christian community faithfully fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them.
Welcome, Ameerah Paulenne to the family of God. May your journey of faith begin today and last a lifetime. 🕊️🤍

Today marked the day Ms. Lovely Nahyahan and Mr. Jessie Uyan received the Sacrament of Matrimony, with their parents, godparents, friends and relatives as witnesses.

💍🤍 Created in Love.
United by Covenant.
Faithful in Commitment. 🤍💍

Two hearts stood before God, their families and the people who love them and said the most beautiful words two people can say to one another: “I do.”
But today was more than a wedding ceremony.
It was the beginning of a sacred journey—a journey where love is no longer simply a feeling but a choice to walk together through every season of life.
In Father’s homily, three beautiful words reminded us of what marriage truly means: Creation, Covenant, and Commitment.

🌿 Creation — God created each of us with a purpose and in His beautiful plan, He brought two lives together. Before they found each other, God already knew the story He wanted to write. Their meeting, their love and this very day are part of a journey held in His hands.
🤍 Covenant — Marriage is not merely a promise made when everything is beautiful and easy.
It is a sacred covenant made before God—a promise to remain, to love, to forgive, to understand and to choose each other again and again. It is saying, “You are my only one. " Rather than "You are my number 1."

🕊️ Commitment — Feelings may change with the passing of time, but true love chooses to stay. Commitment means holding on when life becomes difficult, celebrating together when blessings overflow and carrying one another when one becomes tired. It is the daily decision to protect the love they received today.

Today, they did not simply begin a life together. They entrusted their life together to God.
May their home become a place where faith grows, where forgiveness comes easily, where laughter is shared freely and where love is never taken for granted.

May they always remember the joy of this day—not only when life is easy, but especially when the road becomes challenging. May they look back at the promises they made today and find the strength to keep choosing one another.

Because a beautiful marriage is not built in one day. It is built every day—through patience, sacrifice, prayer, forgiveness and countless little acts of love.

To Jessie N. Uyan and Lovely N. Nahyahan, may your love always lead you closer to God and closer to one another.

Best Wishes and Congratulations!

Today, St. Paul the Apostle Parish welcomed the Pilgrim image of Mary Mother Life for the first time. Fr Marcs offered a Mass in honour of Mother Life. The image travelled around the different parishes and homes in Ifugao and other parishes where a MOLIAN is present. The image has also visited Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao where MOLIANS are.

Hingyon is blessed to be the last stop over of Mother of Life in Ifugao before it will be transferred to bontoc. The image will stay in the parish for a week from Aug. 2-10 and at 5pm on aug. 10 fr Emil will transfer it to bontoc.

Parishioners are welcome to come anytime and offer their prayers and petition to God through the intercession of Mother of Life.

May her maternal care be felt by all her children.

Happy Priest's Day, Rev. Fr. Marcial Lloyd C. Castañeda!
Like St. John Mary Vianney, patron saint of priests, your life is a quiet testimony that true greatness is found not in recognition but in faithfully leading God's people to Him.
Day after day, through every Mass you celebrate,
every confession you hear,
every homily you preach
and every soul you accompany,
you echo the heart of Christ—the Good Shepherd who never ceases to seek His flock.
St. John Vianney once said,
"The priesthood is the love of the Heart of Jesus."
Today, we thank God because that love continues to be made visible through your ministry. Your gentle presence, steadfast faith and generous service remind us that a priest is more than a leader—he is a bridge that brings heaven closer to earth.
May the prayers and example of St. John Mary Vianney strengthen you each day.
May the Lord continue to fill your heart with wisdom, humility, courage and unwavering joy as you shepherd His people with love and compassion.
Happy Priest's Day, Father!
Thank you for your faithful "yes,"
for your sacrifices and for allowing Christ to shine through your life.
May God richly bless your priesthood today and always. 🙏🤍

Saint Paul the Apostle held its PLEDGES MONITORING AND ASSESSMENT.

Volunteer Parishioners, as well as the treasurers and temporarities from the different BECS attended the said activity conducted by Ms Offelia Lopez and Ms Tessie Siw-ang. The activity not only covered the pledge but also let the participants understand and feel the spiritual essence of pledging.

After the activity, one of the participants pledged that she would start giving her pledge again.

It shows that, "The Seed that falls on good ground, yields a fruitful harvest."

The story of Job reminds us that God's greatest gifts are not measured by wealth, success or comfort but by the people and blessings that remain with us even in times of suffering. Trials have a way of revealing what truly matters.

Family is one of God's first and greatest gifts.
Job experienced the heartbreaking loss of his children yet his story teaches us never to take our loved ones for granted.
Every shared meal, every conversation, every embrace is a gift from God.
While family may not always be perfect they are often the people through whom God teaches us love, forgiveness and hope.

Friends are companions God places in our journey.
Job's friends came to comfort him, although they did not always understand his pain.
Their mistakes remind us that the greatest comfort is not always found in the right words but in a faithful presence.
True friendship means standing beside someone in both joyful and painful moments, reflecting Christ's compassion.

Faith is the anchor that holds us when everything else seems to fall apart.
Job lost his possessions, his health, and those dearest to him, yet he continued to seek God. He questioned, grieved and cried out, but he never abandoned his relationship with the Lord.
Faith is not pretending that life is easy; it is choosing to trust that God remains good even when we cannot understand His plans.

Music is also a gift from God. It has the power to comfort wounded hearts, strengthen weary spirits and lift our prayers when words are no longer enough.
In seasons of sorrow, a song of faith can remind us that God is near. Music becomes an expression of hope, gratitude and trust, helping us remember that God's love continues to surround us even in our darkest moments.

In the end, the story of Job teaches us that life's greatest treasures are not things that can be lost overnight.
The enduring gifts of family, faithful friends, unwavering faith and the hope that can be expressed through music continue to point us toward God.
Even when life is filled with trials, these gifts remind us that God never abandons His children.
Like Job, we are invited to remain faithful, trusting that the God who walks with us in suffering is the same God who will lead us into hope, healing and new life.

Special thanks to Rev. Fr. Marcial Lloyd Lloyd for allowing his music on this video.
Same goes to anak Justin Anongos for this video compilation.
