WHITE RIBBON MOVEMENT| In response to the call of His Excellency, Most Rev. Bishop Precioso Cantillas, SBD, DD, and in communion with the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), the BEC Sr. Sto Niño de Mabagon Chapel invites all the faithful to participate in the White Ribbon Movement—a call to uphold truth, accountability, justice, and righteousness in public life.

This Sunday, June 28, 2026, all are encouraged to:

WEAR WHITE when attending Mass
PIN A WHITE RIBBON if you cannot wear white.
DISPLAY WHITE RIBBONS in homes, workplaces, schools, offices, and buildings

Let us lift our nation to the Lord in prayer. May He guide those entrusted with public service to govern with wisdom, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the common good, and grant each of us the courage to live as faithful witnesses of righteousness and peace.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied." -Matthew 5:6

SANCTE IOHANNES | Saint John the Baptist is best known as the Jewish prophet who heralded the arrival of Jesus Christ. He famously baptized repentant followers in the Jordan River—including Jesus himself—and was ultimately executed by beheading after denouncing the unlawful marriage of King Herod Antipas.

𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 | Corpus Christi Sunday (The Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ) is a Catholic feast that celebrates the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. It is observed on the Sunday after Trinity Sunday and reminds the faithful of Christ’s sacrifice, love, and continual presence in the Church through Holy Communion.

This celebration highlights the importance of the Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life. Many parishes commemorate Corpus Christi Sunday with special Masses, Eucharistic adoration, and processions, publicly expressing faith in Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament.

O RAYNA SA MAYO NGA MATAHOM | For centuries, the month of May has been devoted to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary through flowers, prayers, and acts of faith. In this same spirit, the Sr. Sto. Niño de Mabagon Chapel joyfully concluded its month-long celebration of Flores de Mayo, a cherished tradition that continues to deepen Marian devotion within the Christian community.

The celebration commenced with the praying of the Holy Rosary, followed by the flower offering and the Crowning of Mary. The faithful then gathered for the Kasaulogan sa Pulong (KSP), offering praise and thanksgiving to God for the countless graces received throughout this Marian month.

The celebration also became a moment of joy and fellowship for the children who actively participated throughout the month. Fun-filled parlor games such as Paint Me a Picture, Message Relay, I-Shoot Mo ang Straw, Action Relay, Pass the Bottle, and many more brought happiness and excitement to everyone. These activities not only strengthened camaraderie among the youth but also reminded them that faith can be celebrated with joy, unity, and active participation in the community.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the giving of awards and recognition to the outstanding children who consistently attended and actively participated during the entire Flores de Mayo celebration. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and love for serving God and Mama Mary truly inspired everyone present.

The Sr. Sto. Niño de Mabagon Chapel would also like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to all the generous sponsors, donors, and supporters who shared their blessings and made this celebration possible. Your kindness, time, and generosity brought smiles to the children and helped make this Marian celebration meaningful and successful. May the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to bless you abundantly for your goodness and support to the community.

As we conclude this year’s Flores de Mayo celebration, may the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to guide us with her maternal care and inspire us to imitate her humility, obedience, and unwavering trust in God’s will. May the flowers offered at her altar throughout this month become a reminder that true devotion is best expressed through lives rooted in faith, hope, and love.
