When life gets overwhelming, we often filter our thoughts. We tend to hide our deepest anxieties, our anger, and our messy uncertainties from the world because we worry about being "too much" or being misunderstood. But this passage invites us to lay down that burden because everything matters.

​No request is too small. You don’t have to save your prayers only for major life crises. The routine, daily anxieties or a simple bad day are just as welcome.

​No emotion is too heavy. Bringing "everything" means you don't have to clean yourself up before you speak. Grief, confusion, anger, and joy are all valid.

​Unlike human relationships where people might be busy, distracted, or emotionally unavailable, this reminder assures an open line—an ever-present, attentive listener who never gets weary of hearing from you.

So, whatever is weighing heavily on your mind right now—whether it is a mountain of worry or a quiet hope—you don't have to carry it alone. Release the need to have it all figured out, and simply lay it down. You are being listened to.

Teach children the Word of God so that they will grow in the fear of the Lord.”

Children need more than education, talents, or success—they need God’s truth. When parents and teachers faithfully teach the Word of God, children learn to love, obey, and trust the Lord. The fear of the Lord is not being afraid of God, but having deep reverence, respect, and obedience to Him. A child grounded in God’s Word is more likely to make wise choices and walk in righteousness throughout life.

Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-7
“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

When children are taught God’s Word from an early age, they develop a strong foundation of faith, wisdom, and godly character that can guide them throughout their lives. 🙏
