The final day of Summer Catechesis 2026 marked the culmination of weeks of faith formation, learning, and fellowship among the learners and catechists.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the people of Barangay Mugdo for their generosity and active participation. All that was shared and collected will be a big help to the seminarians inside the seminary.

Today, our community gathered in prayer and faith as we celebrated Pentecost Sunday โ€” a reminder of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, fear was transformed into courage as the Apostles went forth to proclaim the Gospel to the world. Until today, the Church continues its mission of bringing Christ to every nation, every generation, and every heart.

As Catholics, we are called not only to witness the mission of the Church but also to become part of it through our faith, actions, and love for others. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us, strengthen our faith, and renew our hearts each day.

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | The 15 first communicants of St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Chapel of Brgy. Mugdo humbly received the Sacrament of Confession at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Hinabangan, Samar.

With simple hearts and sincere prayers, the children approached the sacrament with reverence and innocence, preparing themselves spiritually as they continue their journey of faith toward their First Holy Communion.
