The Apostolic Catholic Church International Ministries, in joyful collaboration with Holy Trinity Catholic Church, gracefully celebrates Flores de Mayo 2026 through Santacruzan held at Sacrifice Valley, Hermosa, Bataan, on May 17, 2026.

Flores de Mayo is a month-long May celebration honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. To honor her, young girls and women dress in elegant gowns and represent queens, saints, and symbolic figures.

The procession was led by the Knights of the Altar, followed by the Ave Maria, the Reynas, Hermanas, and the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Maria Virginia, with the highlight of the celebrationโ€”the Reyna Elena.

In addition, the Barangay Captain of Sacrifice Valley showed support for the program and delivered an inspirational message to the participants, sharing how he now understands the importance of Santacruzan, having also participated in it during his youth.

Furthermore, the peak moment was the passing of the crown from the current Reyna Elena 2026 to the incoming Reyna Elena 2027. The Hermanas also handed over their symbols to the future Hermanas, signifying the transfer of honor and responsibility.

Truly, this Filipino tradition is such a beautiful devotion.

The Apostolic Catholic Church International Ministries, together with the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, honored St. Maria Virginiaโ€™s 21st death anniversary through a memorial mass held on May 17, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Sacrifice Valley, Hermosa, Bataan.

As a way to honor St. Maria Virginia, Msgr. Angelo Gabriel Petinio and his collaborators composed a song titled โ€œMama Virginia Iniibig Kita,โ€ performed by Apo Ricarda de Jerusalem (Angelica Omones-Pahignalo). It was launched and presented after the holy celebration. The song reminds the faithful servants of Mahal na Ingkong to live a life full of love and faithfulness to God, as beloved Mama did.

Moreover, the youth of St. John the Baptist Parish offered a cotillion-inspired dance to the song โ€œAwit kay Sta. Maria Virginia,โ€ a performance she loved.

After the presentation, the cotillion dancers formed a line for the crowning ceremony of St. Maria Virginia, led by Sister Ma. Allina Melissa Ducao and the three Hermanas. Lastly, the people lined up to offer flowers and whisper prayers to Mama.

Indeed, it was a heartfelt memorial celebration of her 21st death anniversary.
