Sa rum-an nga adlaw, Enero 9, 2026 aton gina selebrar ang Kapiyestahan kang aton Ginoong Jesukristo, Señor Jesus Nazareno. Angot kadya, magahiwat kang Santos nga Misa sa aton parokya sa alas kuwatro (4:00 p.m) sa hapon kag pagasundan kang prusisyon palibot sa banwa. Wara ti misa sa kaagahon (daily mass) sa amo lamang nga adlaw.

Ginapangabay ang tanan sa pagsimba kag pag-ugyon sa amo nga selebrasyon. Duro gid nga salamat!

This season, our hearts are full as we share songs, smiles, and hope with the community of Sitio Miacton, Brgy. Nalihawan, Hamtic. This activity reminds us that Christmas is not just about celebration, but about 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭. Through every carol sung and every helping hand shared, we are reminded that even the simplest acts can bring light and joy to others.

With sincere and grateful hearts, we give our deepest thanks to the Barangay Officials, BPCs, and Parents of Sitio Miacton, whose guidance, trust, and unwavering support made this mission possible. Your belief in this cause strengthened our purpose and reminded us that community is built when people come together in service and compassion.

We are also profoundly thankful to the generous families from Poblacion, 4, 5, Barangay Bia-an, Piapi 1, and to all the individual families who welcomed us into their homes and hearts. Your kindness went beyond giving—it became a living testimony of love, faith, and unity. Each open door, warm smile, and shared blessing reflected the true meaning of Christmas.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, may this season continue to move us toward selfless love, humble giving, and genuine concern for one another. May the joy we shared through music and service continue to echo in our hearts, reminding us that when we give with love, we become instruments of hope and light.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DIOCESE OF MASBATE ON THE PASSING OF MOST REV. JOSE S. BANTOLO D.D.

It is with deep sorrow that the Roman Catholic Diocese of Masbate announces the passing of the MOST REVEREND JOSE SALMORIN BANTOLO D.D., Bishop of Masbate.

Bishop Bantolo was called to eternal rest on December 13, 2025 at around 10:36 pm at the age of 65.

He served the faithful of the Diocese of Masbate with devotion and grace for 14 years. We give thanks for his life of service and selfless leadership.

We extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to his family and to all the faithful of Masbate.

Details of his Wake and Funeral will be announced later.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul, and souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

CHURCH NEWS | Pope Leo XIV Reminds Choirs: Your Music Must Mirror the Church’s Unity

On the Solemnity of Christ the King, Pope Leo XIV reminded thousands of choristers that their music is more than performance, it is a ministry of love, unity, and prayer.

Rooted in Christ whose throne is the Cross and whose power is love, sacred music becomes the “new song” that the Risen Lord raises to the Father. As singers who walk together in hope, choristers are called to harmonize hearts, strengthen communion, and help the Church praise God as one family.

Entrusting them to St. Cecilia, the Holy Father invited all to rediscover music as a gift that expresses what words alone cannot, a song of faith that leads the world to Christ the King.
