Heavenly Father,
You are the Lord Most High, mighty and powerful, and nothing is beyond Your authority. In these times of strong winds, incessant rain, and powerful waves, we ask You to guide us, protect us, and watch over us.
Lord, as Your Word says in Psalm 107:29, You still the storm to a whisper and hush the waves of the sea. The winds may be strong and the waves may rise, but they are nothing compared to Your great power.
Calm every storm around us and, most especially, calm the hearts of those who are afraid. Keep our families and communities safe. Give wisdom and courage to those who are helping others, and remind us that even in the midst of the storm, You are with us.
We place our trust in You, Lord, knowing that You are our refuge and our protector. May Your mighty hand guide us through these difficult times and bring peace after the storm.
