There are moments when God gives us an assignment that seems so simpleโsomething ordinary, something we may not even understand. But Davidโs story reminds us that sometimes, the assignment we are carrying today is preparing us for the battle we will face tomorrow.
David was not sent to the battlefield to fight Goliath. He was simply sent to bring food to his brothers. He carried an ephah of roasted grain, ten loaves of bread, and ten cheeses for the commander. He was only doing what was asked of him. Yet that simple assignment brought him exactly where God would use him.

But before David faced the giant, he also faced voices. Eliab, his own brother, questioned him and spoke against him. And this is something we can experience too. The Eliab in your life may know your past and your story, but they donโt know what God has destined for you. Not every voice deserves a place in your heart, especially when God has already spoken about who you are and what He is calling you to do.

David could have allowed Eliabโs words to stop him. He could have gone home. But he didnโt. He kept moving.
Then came Goliathโthe giant everyone else was afraid to face. But David remembered what God had already done for him in the secret place. The battles he had fought as a shepherd had prepared him for this moment. The victories God gave him in private became the confidence he carried into public.
David didnโt come with the armor of Saul. He came with what he knew, what he had already used, and most importantly, with faith in the God who had never failed him.
And David defeated Goliath with a sling and a stone. But the story didnโt end there. The very sword Goliath carried became the sword used to finish the victory over Goliath. What was meant to be a weapon against David became part of the enemyโs defeat.

Sometimes, the very things we carry, the places weโve been, the battles weโve survived, and even the things that once distracted or discouraged us can become part of the testimony God uses to bring us through.
So before you face your giant, carry your cheese. Carry your assignment. Carry your faith. Carry what God has entrusted to you. Donโt let the voices around you make you forget what God has already done.
Because the cheese may look small, the assignment may look ordinary, and the giant may look impossibleโbut God is able to use the ordinary things we carry to lead us into extraordinary victories.
Thank you once again, ๐๐ข๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐จ๐ง, for allowing yourself to be used by God and for sharing the message He whispered to your heart. ๐ค
