When you hear the term "MILLENIALS" we often think of bratty youngsters who protest too much online but are too busy taking selfies and tracking their social media likes.
This sounds a bit extreme and truly not founded on statistics! ๐
But if you actually take the time, you'll see a handful of are also paving the way for in our . Not only in national and local government units but even in the very of our country. โ (whilst taking selfies, still, of course) ;)

๐๐ฆ: It happened when I vowed to commit myself in serving God through serving His people....
Although that official statement ay sinabi ko lang nung grumaduate ako ng college but since I was a kid pa talaga, it has been my dream to serve the people. Mas lalo pang umigting yung passion na 'yon when I was a campus journalist back then. Madaming kasing field exposures lalo sa mga peasant and fishetfolks community sa mga remote barangays. From there nakita ko yung need, and sinabi ko sa sarili ko na I will help them... In any possible way that I can..
And so blessed naman na inofferan ako ng job. Kaya go na go!

There are moments kasi when our body wants to rest but our heart would continue to go on especially kapag nakita mo talaga that there is a need in the community.
Yung karanasan ko, sa pagbyahe palang lanta na lalo kapag nakahabal habal at malubak ang daan. Yung isang community namin, it'll take you 4 hours para marating yun. Bukod pa yung 5 kilometrong lakad ahon lusong sa bundok โฐ๏ธ , tawid ng 7 ilog para marating yung bahay ng partner- beneficiaries. Tapos babalik ka pa. Utas! Hahahaha
But beyond that contradictions. The heart usually prevails. The heart wins.
One more thing, ay yung TIMEFRAME at DELIVERABLES ๐๐๐ hahahaa madalas hindi siya nagagawa on time dahil na din sa community. You can't force them.. I mean, it takes times. Process.. Kaya mahirap kapag naghahabol na ng time at backlogs. Anyway, nakakaya naman hahahaha

๐๐ฆ: Serving the community and being a part of the process of helping the people, who are the most in need, makes me feel incredibly happy and grateful.
Iโm always excited to see them lalo kapag masaya din silang nakikita nila ako.
Yung feeling na nareach mo yung fulfillment and may trabaho ka that reflects your values and what you believe in. ๐
Bonus na yung mahalin ka ng mga tao.
Treating you like tunay na kamag-anak talaga, hayssss sarap aa feeling na andami mo nang nanay at tatay sa area. ๐

At first, paralyzed talaga lahat ng operations and activities. Andaming "SANA". Hindi namin mapuntahan ang community, hindi makumusta lalo yung iba walang signal sa area. Lalong dumami ang backlogs at mahirap mag strategize kung paano magdedeliver ng mga inputs at this time.
Pero as of now so far, nakakaraos din naman.
