Last December 28, 2025, our Bishop, Most Rev. Euginius L. Cañete, celebrated his 1st Episcopal Ordination Anniversary.

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, the Ministry of Altar Servers of the Diocese of Gumaca extends our belated greetings and offers thanks to God for his leadership, guidance, and dedicated service to the Diocese. As we celebrate this milestone, we continue to pray that the Lord bless him with wisdom, strength, and good health as he leads God’s people in faith and love.

Magtulungan at Magmahalan, Hatid ng Lingkod Dambana sa Kabataan.

Nagbahagi ang mga lingkod dambana ng dambanang parokya ni San Vicente Ferrer ng pagkain at school supplies sa ilang kabataan sa pagdiriwang ng araw ni St. Tarcisius noong ika-24 ng Agosto. Nag bigay rin ng saya ang mga lingkod dambana sa mga kabataan sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng aktibidad. Nagkaroon din ng kasiyahan at konting salo-salo ang mga lingkod ng dambana matapos ang pagbibigay hatid ng saya sa mga kabataan.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng mga Lingkod ng Dambana, isinagawa sa San Lorenzo Ruiz De Manila Parish ang isang makabuluhang araw ng pagninilay at pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos. 🙏🕊️

Kasabay nito, nagkaisa rin ang mga lingkod sa paglilinis ng ating simbahan ⛪—isang simpleng tanda ng aming pagmamahal at malasakit sa tahanan ng Panginoon.

Hango sa halimbawa ni San Tarcisius, ang patron ng mga Lingkod ng Dambana, nawa’y patuloy kaming maging tapat sa paglilingkod at maging buhay na saksi ng pananampalataya sa aming komunidad. 🤍

Noong Agosto 23, 2025, matagumpay na nagsagawa ang Ministry of the Altar Server – Macalelon ng isang makabuluhang aktibidad para sa kabataan.

Layunin ng pagtitipong ito na tulungan ang mga kabataan na higit pang mapalapit sa Diyos at mapalalim ang kanilang pananampalataya. Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang gawain, pagbabahagi, at pakikipag-ugnayan, hindi lamang mga aral ang kanilang natutunan, kundi naranasan din nila ang kasayahan at pagkakaisa bilang iisang pamayanan ng pananampalataya.

🙏 Isang hakbang tungo sa kabanalan, isang kabataang handang tumugon sa tawag ng Panginoon. 🌟

Nagsagawa ang mga Lingkod ng Dambana ng Parish Clean Drive noong Agosto 16, 2025 at sinundan ng pamimigay ng pagkain sa mga ordinaryong tao sa lansangan. Ang gawain ito ay naglalayon na maghatid ng pag-asa at galak sa mga ordinaryong taong pagal sa paghahanap buhay at makapagbigay ng kasiyahan kanilang mga puso. Ang pagpapakita ng pangangalaga at pagmamahal sa Parokya ang layunin ng Parish Clean Drive.

𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟑| DIOCESAN CELEBRATION OF THE 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐔𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄, The First Martyr of the Eucharist and Patron Saint of Altar Servers and Tarcisian Adorers.

As altar servers, it is our common knowledge to know the story of the 12 years old boy named Tarcisius. Tasked to take the communion to the prisoners, intercepted by His pagan friends, revealed his Christianity, beaten to death, and the Eucharist miraculously disappeared. Almost the majority of all Altar Server knows this story, we are so familiar with it that we can even recite or tell this story everyday without stuttering but do we reflect on it?

Tarcisius lived in an era where being a Christian can get you killed. Believing in Jesus can get your head rolling down the street. Tarcisius brushed all his natural fear under the carpet and hugged the most important task of his life that can also be the end of him.

How fortunate we are; we have the freedom to go to Mass, to recite the rosary, to have processions, simply to become a Catholic. We don't have to play hide and seek with the Roman soldiers just to receive communion.

These ideas ask us to reflect on our responsibility and devotion as Altar Servers. Sometimes, we complain about our 6am schedules, the long boring homilies, that attitude co-minister, or that "manang" that always nags at us. We always complain and forget the essence of being a servant of God and a servant of the Eucharist. Tarcisius brushed all his fear, all second guessings, and all of his insecurities to carry out the most dangerous task of all. We must do the same, brushing all the negativities of the world, and focus on carrying the task we oath to do. Focus on the Eucharist, focus on Jesus. Only armed with faith and bravery, let us face all the hardships of being a servant of the Lord so like Tarcisius, we become true friends of Christ.
