The Parish Commission on Youth successfully wrapped up YEP 2026, bringing together young people for a faith-filled encounter rooted in prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Thank you, mga Kalakbay, for saying yes to God’s call. May the grace you encountered throughout this journey continue to guide your hearts long after YEP has ended.

𝐘𝐄𝐏 𝐘𝐄𝐏, 𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐲! 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐚!

The Parish Commission on Youth of the invites all young people 15 years old and above to join in the Youth Encounter Program (YEP) 2026, to be held on July 10–12, 2026, at Morera Elementary School.

The invitation of Jesus to His first disciples, "Come and see" (John 1:39), continues to echo in the hearts of every young person today. Through this Youth Encounter Program, participants are invited to draw closer to Christ, deepen their relationship with Him, and experience His abiding love through prayer, reflection, and fellowship.

This three-day encounter offers an opportunity to grow spiritually, strengthen one's commitment to the Church, and discover the joy of living as a faithful disciple of Christ within the parish community.

If you are 15 years old and above, we encourage you to prayerfully accept this invitation and allow the Lord to lead you into a deeper encounter with His grace and mercy, an encounter with Christ like no other.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event, we kindly request each participant to contribute a Solidarity fee of Php 50.00.

Kitakits, mga kalakbay! Let us answer the Lord's invitation together and come and see what He has prepared for you.

DEO GRATIAS! The Bishop of Legazpi, Most Rev. Joel Z. Baylon, joyfully announces the forthcoming ordinations of Rev. Jonel Ramoso Argamosa and Rev. Mat Jason Naag Latorre to the Sacred Order of Presbyters, and Sem. John Roger Rodriguez Avila, Sem. Leonardo Avila Canuel, and Sem. Rey Bondoc Madrigallos to the Sacred Order of Deacons.

The Ordination Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the Feast of Saint John Mary Vianney, at 8:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Gregory the Great, Legazpi City.

The ordination banns shall be published in all parishes of the Diocese for three consecutive Sundays: July 5, 12, and 19, 2026.

Let us keep our ordinandi in our prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. May the Lord continue to bless our Diocese with holy and generous vocations.

MABIYAYANG JUBILEO! The bells of our churches and chapels are now ringing across the Province of Albay, joyfully proclaiming the beginning of the Celebratory Phase of the Diocesan Diamond Jubilee.

Today, we give thanks to God for 75 years of grace, guidance, and mission as the Diocese of Legazpi celebrates this historic milestone.

May this joyful peal of bells call us together as one family of faith—grateful for the past, renewed in the present, and ready to continue Christ’s mission.
