SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF MARY

“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.” (Luke 1:45)

The Immaculate Conception Major Seminary community gathered in prayer and solemn anticipation for the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The celebration began at 6:00 p.m. with Solemn Vespers, led by Rev. Fr. Christopher Dr. Rivera, followed by the Exposition of the Most Holy Eucharist. Throughout the evening, the Agapayans of the Theology Department and the Wings of the Philosophy Department took turns in Eucharistic adoration, spending an hour before the Blessed Sacrament and praying the Office of Readings. The exposition continued until 11:00 p.m., allowing the ICMAS community to enter into a night of prayer and contemplation in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and in anticipation of her glorious Assumption. The following morning, the community gathered for Solemn Lauds, led by Rev. Fr. Romualdo C. Go, followed by the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel I. Cruz, the Rector.

Through prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and the Holy Eucharist, the ICMAS community entered more deeply into the mystery of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, looking to Mary as a model of faithful surrender to God and a sign of the glory promised to His faithful.

Ang Seminaryo Mayor ng Inmaculada Concepcion sa pangunguna ng Vocation Promotion Ministry ay magsasagawa ng Tagpuan: A Vocation Discernment Day na nakatuon upang bigyan ng panahon ang Diyos upang ika’y makatagpo.
Bukas ito sa lahat ng mga kabataang lalaki na nagnanais tuklasin at alamin ang banal na bokasyon ng pagpapari upang matuon ang kanilang paningin sa Diyos at mapakinggang ganap ang kanyang pagtawag.
