A blessed morning everyone :)
Obedience is not a magic formula to control God.
We do not obey God to force His hand, earn His love, or make Him owe us blessings.
God is sovereign.
He is not manipulated by human effort, religious performance, or emotional pressure.
But Scripture consistently shows that obedience matters.
Obedience aligns our hearts with His will.
It positions us to walk in the path where God often chooses to work powerfully, wisely, and graciously.
When Noah obeyed, he was preserved through the flood...
When Abraham obeyed, he walked by faith into Godβs promises...
When Israel obeyed, they experienced covenant blessings...
When the disciples obeyed Jesus, they witnessed miracles and transformation.
Not because obedience controlled God.
But because obedience is the posture of faith.
God delights in obedient hearts because obedience reflects trust, surrender, love, and reverence toward Him.
Jesus said...
If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15
Obedience is not about trying to manipulate heaven.....It is about trusting the One who already rules heaven.
Sometimes obedience leads to visible blessing...
Sometimes it leads through suffering, pruning, and testing...
But in every season, obedience keeps us near the heart of God.
True biblical obedience says....
βLord, not my will, but Thine be done.β
And even when we do not fully understand His plan, we trust that His ways are good, holy, and perfect.
π₯ Obedience is not controlling God.
π₯ Obedience is surrendering to God.
π₯ Obedience is walking by faith even when the outcome is uncertain.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. Hebrews 5:9
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
