In Loving Memory of Love Joy C. Ocampo
April 16, 1984 – February 27, 2026
“I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” — Psalm 104:33
Love Joy, a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt, transitioned from this life into the arms of her Savior on February 27, 2026. True to her name, Love Joy spent her 41 years spreading warmth, wisdom, and the joy of the Lord to everyone she met having lived a life that was a beautiful reflection of her name—defined by a grounded spirit, a servant’s heart, and an unwavering commitment to her faith.
A Life of Worship and Ministry
Miss Love was a "down-to-earth" woman of God whose relationship with the Lord was the compass for her life. She was an integral part of the ministries at Gracepoint Baptist Church, where she served faithfully in the Praise and Worship ministry. Her voice and her heart were dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus, and she led others into worship with a sincerity that touched many lives. Whether on the platform or in her daily walk, she lived the Gospel through her kindness and the quiet strength she offered to her church family.
A Pillar of Family and Service
As the eldest of three, Love was the cornerstone of her family. She poured her heart into those she loved, providing a steady hand and a listening ear. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment they spent together.
In her professional life, she was a dedicated High School Teacher and a skilled Virtual Assistant. She was a mentor who saw the potential in every student and a professional who handled every task with excellence. Whether in a classroom or working remotely, she treated her work as a ministry, always seeking to uplift and support those around her.
Her Lasting Legacy
Love Joy leaves behind a legacy of faith, education, and deep-rooted family bonds. Her life was a testament to the power of a quiet, consistent walk with God. While she will be deeply missed by her family, her students, and her brothers and sisters in Christ at Gracepoint Baptist Church, we find peace knowing she is now part of the eternal choir, resting in the presence of the Master she sang for so faithfully.
