Come as you are🙂↕️☝️♥️🙏
We live in a world that rewards performance. We’ve been taught to hide our weakness, to filter our pain, to smile even when our hearts are breaking.
We’ve learned the art of pretending, even in the presence of the Almighty. But God is not impressed by performances; He’s moved by truth.
He doesn’t need our rehearsed prayers or polished words. He’s not after our perfect worship posture or well-timed hallelujahs. What He wants most is honesty, the kind that trembles when spoken, the kind that shows through tears, the kind that says, “Lord, I’m not okay and I need You.”
You see, God can work with real. He can heal what’s confessed, not what’s concealed. He can mend what’s surrendered, not what’s staged. He’s not asking for your perfection; He’s asking for your presence... raw, real, and unedited.
When you come before Him and say, “Lord, I’m broken,” He doesn’t turn away, He draws near. When you whisper, “Lord, I’m struggling to believe,” He doesn’t scold, He strengthens. When you cry, “Lord, I’ve failed again,” He doesn’t condemn, He covers you with mercy.
God is not looking for actors in His house. He’s looking for children who will come home: messy, tear-streaked, and honest. Because it’s only in the place of truth that grace can flow freely.
Drop the script. Take off the mask. You don’t have to perform for the One who already knows every thought, every fear, every scar. He’s not waiting for your act to be perfect; He’s waiting for your heart to be open.
Come as you are, not who you think you should be. For honesty is the language Heaven listens to. And the moment you stop pretending is the moment God begins His most beautiful work in you ❤️🔥
