PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES

Lord, we lift up the Philippines to You in this time of fear, tension, and uncertainty. As confusion and conflict surround our nation, may Your peace reign over every heart, every leader, and every institution.

We pray for the safety of everyone inside the Senate, for the authorities, the media, the workers, and all those affected by these events. Protect innocent lives, prevent violence, and calm every spirit consumed by anger, fear, or hatred.

Grant wisdom and humility to our leaders, that they may act with justice, integrity, and respect for truth. May the rule of law never lose its humanity, and may power never overcome what is right and good.

Lord, heal our nation from division, corruption, violence, and political hatred. Teach us once again to see one another not as enemies, but as fellow Filipinos called to work for peace and the common good.

May truth prevail without bloodshed.
May justice be pursued without vengeance.
May peace overcome fear.

We entrust the Philippines to Your mercy and protection.

Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Santo Niño, have mercy on the Filipino people.

Politics is temporary, but GOD is eternal. Guard your soul, for in the end, we will be accountable for all that we say, do, and neglect to do. Our choices can lead us to either heaven or hell. Be faithful to God alone, for His judgment is eternal. 🙏

With gratitude and joy, the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia share the appointment of Rev. Fr. Nick A. Vaquilar as Bishop-Elect of Urdaneta. May the Lord guide him in shepherding His people with wisdom, humility, and love. Ad multos annos, our dear Apo Nick!

We encourage all faithful of the Archdiocese to pray for Bishop-Elect Nick. Let us entrust his ministry to God’s grace. May he lead with the heart of Christ, the Good Shepherd.
