This week in our SBS class, we journey into the inspiring New Testament story of John the Baptist and his parents, Elizabeth and Zechariah. Their story teaches us a powerful lesson about faith, patience, and the faithfulness of God.

For many years, Elizabeth and Zechariah prayed and waited for God’s blessing. Even when it seemed impossible, God never forgot His promise. In His perfect time, He answered their prayers and blessed them with a sonβ€”John the Baptistβ€”who would prepare the way for the coming of Jesus Christ.

Through this lesson, we are reminded that God always keeps His promises. Sometimes we may not understand His timing, but His plans are always perfect. Just like Elizabeth and Zechariah, we are encouraged to continue trusting, praying, and believing that God is working even while we wait.

May this week’s lesson inspire every child to strengthen their faith and remember that nothing is impossible with God. No promise from Him will ever fail!

As we continue our SBS: Faith in Action, we dive into the powerful story of Queen Estherβ€”a woman who chose courage over fear and purpose over comfort. In a moment where silence was easier, she stood firm, trusting that God had placed her exactly where she needed to be. Her story reminds us that faith is not passive; it moves, it risks, and it acts even when the outcome is uncertain.

Like Esther, we are called to step out boldly and trust in God’s perfect plan. No matter how small or overwhelming our situation may seem, God can use us to make a difference. We are not here by accident, we are placed with intention, for a greater purpose beyond what we can see.
