AGAIN THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL DID EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD AND THE LORD DELIVERED THEM INTO THE HAND OF THE PHILISTINES FOR FORTY YEARS. NOW THERE WAS A CERTAIN MAN FROM ZORAH OF THE FAMILY OF THE DANITES WHOSE NAME WAS MONOAH AND HIS WIFE WAS BARREN AND HAD NO CHILDREN. However Manasseh did not drive out the inhabitants of Beth Shean and its villages or taanach and its villages or the inhabitants of Dor and its villages or the inhabitants of Ibleam and it's villages or inhabitants of Megiddo and its villages for the Canaanites were determine to dwell in that land. And it came to pass when Israel was strong that they put the Canaanites under tribute but did not completely drive theme out.
