Every note you sing carries sincerity, humility, and a heart fully surrendered to the One who gave you that gift in the first place.

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘 || Sunday Service

Yesterday’s sermon gently yet powerfully reminded us of a truth we often forget: 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀—𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀. According to 1 John 4:21, our love for God cannot be separated from our love for people. To claim that we know God while refusing to love others is to misunderstand Him completely. Scripture is clear—𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. 😄

📌 KEEP IN MIND: God’s love has no beginning and no end. It is eternal, unwavering, and never dependent on our worthiness. The most beautiful part is this: God did not keep His love abstract or distant; He revealed it. He showed it in the most tangible way possible—𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕. Jesus is not merely an example of love; Jesus Christ is love (1 John 4:10). In Him, love took on flesh, walked among us, suffered for us, and chose us even when we were undeserving.

So the question now is not only how does God love us? but also how do we love, having been loved by God? As people who are deeply loved, we are called to respond. 🤗 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲—not out of obligation, but out of gratitude. We respond by loving others the way He loved us: selflessly, intentionally, and sincerely.

We are reminded that 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. Wherever we are placed—at home, in school, at work, in church, or even in silence—we carry the responsibility of reflecting His heart. Love is not proven by words alone, but by how it is felt by those around us. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁. It reached the broken, the unseen, the undeserving—and it should still do the same today through us. ❤️‍🩹🫂

May this truth settle deep in our hearts: 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄. 🌬️ We cannot keep it to ourselves. Loving God means loving people—one of the clearest ways we show that God truly lives in us. 🤍✨

Today we thank the Lord for the gift of your life—your talents, your heart, and your firm commitment to serve Him. As one of our all-around youth leaders, you continue to pour out your strength and passion in the ministry. From playing the drums 🥁, strumming the guitar 🎸, leading songs with excellence 🎤, and stepping in wherever you’re needed, your life speaks one message: “𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙄 𝙖𝙢, 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙, 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚.” 🙌🏻

In today’s message, we learned from Bro. Lhei that 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗲—𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀. Using Philippians 2:4–8, he reminded us that while the world constantly tells us to protect, promote, and put ourselves first, the way of Christ leads us in the opposite direction.

❕ KEEP IN MIND ❕
〰️ True humility is not outward politeness, but a heart that chooses obedience, sacrifice, and love even when it costs something deep.

We learned that 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹’𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

Jesus—who had every right to glory, honor, and worship—did not cling to His divine and heavenly privileges. Instead, He laid them down. The Creator stepped into creation, wrapped Himself in fragile human flesh, walked among the broken, and served even those who rejected Him.

〰️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀. ✝️

Jesus humbled Himself to the point of death—the most humiliating and excruciating form of ex*****on in His time. He did this not out of personal necessity, but because we desperately needed Him to.

Bro. Lhei also led us to reflect personally. 💭
Humility is difficult, especially when we feel hurt, misunderstood, or convinced we are right. But the humility of Christ teaches us that 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀; 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🙌🏻

It is 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧. It is saying, “𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅, 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒆, 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒀𝒐𝒖,” even when our emotions say otherwise.

We were reminded that Christlike humility looks like:
☑️ Putting the needs of others first, even when it is uncomfortable
☑️ Choosing gentleness instead of defensiveness
☑️ Serving even when unseen or unappreciated
☑️ Forgiving even when no apology comes
☑️ Obeying God even when it is painful or inconvenient

Most importantly, Bro. Lhei taught us that 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵—𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. 🤍

When we walk in humility, we are not diminishing ourselves; we are making room for Jesus to be seen in us! 😄

On this day, we celebrate the life of a brother-in-Christ whose leadership has become a steady compass in our ministry and whose gift in music has been a lantern that lights the path toward deeper worship. 🤍

To our dearest 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓: 💌🧸
God has orchestrated you like a masterfully tuned instrument—your leadership plays the notes of wisdom 🎶, and your service sets the rhythm that unifies our church family. 💒

Your life reminds us of Psalm 33:3,
“𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨; 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘺.”

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀; 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. ❤️‍🔥 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲; 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲. 🪴

To our Christ-centered 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓-𝒊𝒏-𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒛 💌
