ā€œThe greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.ā€

While this quote is not found in the Bible, the truth behind it is consistent with Scripture. The Bible never treats the devil as a myth or symbol. He is a real adversary who actively seeks to deceive, tempt, and destroy.

ā€œBe sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.ā€
— 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

Satan's greatest weapon is deception. He does not usually come with horns and fire. He comes as a liar, disguising evil as good and darkness as light.

ā€œAnd no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.ā€
— 2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)

The devil wants men to believe that sin has no consequence, that hell is not real, and that there is no urgency to repent. From the beginning, he questioned God's Word.

ā€œYea, hath God said...?ā€
— Genesis 3:1 (KJV)

Jesus Christ exposed Satan for who he is.

ā€œYe are of your father the devil... he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth... for he is a liar, and the father of it.ā€
— John 8:44 (KJV)

The answer to Satan's lies is not fear but truth. Christ defeated the devil through His death and resurrection, and believers are commanded to stand against the devil by putting on the whole armour of God.

ā€œPut on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.ā€
— Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)

The Christian must never ignore spiritual warfare. We are called to resist the devil by submitting ourselves to God.

ā€œSubmit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.ā€
— James 4:7 (KJV)

Application:
Do not believe the lie that the devil is merely a fictional character or harmless symbol. His power is real, but God's power is greater. Stay in the Word of God, pray without ceasing, and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who has already won the victory.

He removed the high places... and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made. 2 Kings 18:4 NKJV

"Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole..." Numbers 21:8

Bakit?
Dahil ang dating instrumento ng Diyos ay naging idol ng tao...the children of Israel burned incense to it. 2 Kings 18:4

ARAL MUNA TAYOOO!!!

Kundi dahil mahalaga Siya.

The bronze serpent was never the Savior.
It was only pointing to Him.

The blessing becomes dangerous when it replaces the Blesser.

God Doesn’t Use the Perfect. He Uses the Willing.

Moses was a stutterer.
David was an adulterer.
Rahab was a pr******te.
Peter denied Christ.
Paul was a persecutor.
And yet they all changed history.

God isn’t looking for flawless resumes. He’s looking for surrendered hearts.

Your brokenness doesn’t disqualify you. It might be the very reason God can use you. Cracks in the vessel let His light shine through. Your mess becomes your ministry. Your scars become someone else’s roadmap to healing.

Don’t wait to ā€œhave it all togetherā€ before you say yes to what God is calling you to do. He’s not asking for perfection. He’s asking for obedience.

If God can use a shepherd to slay a giant, He can use you to shake a generation.

Be Teachable.

ā€œGive instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser.ā€
~ Proverbs 9:9

The Bible is clear: the wise receive instruction. A wise person is never too proud to learn, while a foolish person refuses correction because he thinks he already knows enough.

The more a person grows in wisdom, the more he realizes how much he still has to learn.

Kaya lunukin natin ang pride at magpaturo. Kahit gaano pa kalayo ang narating natin sa buhay, wala pa ring nakaka-graduate sa school of life.

Every season brings new lessons, new challenges, and new opportunities to grow.

And being teachable is not limited to listening only to our elders. While we should honor and learn from those ahead of us, we must also recognize our limitations and remain open to learning from everyone.

Minsan may matututunan tayo sa mas bata sa atin. Minsan sa kaibigan, katrabaho, o kahit sa isang estranghero.

God can use anyone to teach us something valuable if we are humble enough to listen.

A teachable heart is a growing heart. But a proud heart remains stagnant because it refuses instruction.

So stay humble. Stay teachable.

Be teachable, and you will grow in wisdom.
