𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟳.𝟴 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲

Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastating impact of the Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao, particularly in Sarangani Province. Homes have been damaged, families have been displaced, and several churches under Evangelical Christian Outreach Fellowship International, Inc. (ECOFII) have suffered significant destruction.

These photos represent only some of the affected churches. As of this writing, we are still gathering information regarding other churches, ministries, and members who may have been impacted by this catastrophic event. Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are now facing uncertainty and urgent needs.

In times like these, we are called not only to pray but also to extend helping hands to those who are suffering.

Yesterday, June 8, 2026, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake, the strongest to hit the Philippines since 1990, struck off the coast of Sarangani, Mindanao. The devastation has been immense, and the communities closest to our hearts have been deeply affected.

Among the hardest-hit areas are Jose Abad Santos, Sarangani Province, and General Santos City, places where many of our ECOFI churches are rooted. As of this writing, at least 16 churches have been reported as fully damaged, and the number continues to rise.
