The parishioners of Sta. Catalina de Alexandria Parishโ€“Glan warmly welcomed the Image of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, led by the Knights of Columbus. The community gathered in prayer through the Liturgy of the Word followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet, expressing their faith and devotion.

The image came from Rome and has been on a year-long journey. After traveling for many months, it has finally arrived at Sta. Catalina de Alexandria Parish, Glan. The image will stay in the parish for nine days.

During its nine-day stay in our parish, everyone is encouraged to take part in the Prayer Hour and other scheduled activities. Let us spend time in prayer, reflection, and devotion, offering our intentions and growing closer to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus as one parish community.

As altar servers, we gather for the final Mass of 2025 with hearts full of gratitude. At the altar, we witness Christ present in the Eucharist and offer our service as prayer. This Mass marks not just the end of a year, but a moment to thank God for His grace, mercy, and constant presence throughout 2025.

May everything we have done at the altar give glory to God, and may we enter the new year renewed in faith, ready to serve Him with reverence and joy.

More than 200 Altar Servers from 12 different zones of Santa Catalina Alexandria Parish in Glan, Sarangani Province gathered at the Parish Covered Court for the Year-End Assembly festivities. With the theme ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—ก๐—จ๐—ก๐——๐—”๐—ฆ๐—œ๐—š, the gathering was filled with faith, unity, and renewed commitment to serve God with courage and dedication.

The program kicked off with Rev. Fr. Joefil D. Rosales, who shared spiritual words to ponder during his chaplainโ€™s time.

This was followed by Maโ€™am April Salvacionโ€™s talk, which dug deeper into the Altar Serversโ€™ mental wellness, emphasizing the importance of embracing human emotions for the greater good in the service of Christ.

The program ended with a socialization segment consisting of games and performances by the Altar Server Socio-Cultural Group, along with raffle prizes prepared by the Altar Server SCAP-Glan core group. This moment captured not just smiles and familiar faces, but hearts strengthened by shared purpose and fellowship.
