August 17, 2025 – Sunday Service

This Sunday, Pastor Joemel De Guzman preached about the blessings that come from God’s Word, based on Revelation 1:3. The verse reminds us that those who read, hear, and obey the Word of God are truly blessed.

Pastor Joemel shared that reading the Bible is not just about gaining knowledge—it’s about filling our hearts with God’s truth every day. Like in Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:2, when we meditate on the Word, it guides us and helps us live successful and fruitful lives.

He also talked about the blessing of hearing God’s Word. From Luke 11:28 and Romans 10:17, he reminded us that faith comes through hearing, and those who listen and obey are counted as part of God’s family (John 5:24; Matthew 12:50).

Finally, he emphasized the blessing of obedience. Obedience brings not only spiritual growth but also God’s favor in our lives, health, and families (3 John 1:2; Psalm 112:1–3; Psalm 35:27). More than that, obeying God shows that we belong to Christ and share in His inheritance.

The message encouraged everyone to live daily in God’s Word—to read it, listen to it, and obey His will with faithfulness.
