Recognized as the youngest and fastest-growing church in the Central Luzon District The Methodism sparks in 1994 headed by the Dicolor UMC thru house visitation to the Gragasin- Adaoag Family to preached the Gospel and conducted the Methodist rituals of house blessing, birthday services and vehicle dedication. The first mission outreach was started by Rev. Esteban A. Cariaga, Jr of Dapdap UMC in 1
997 followed by Rev. Evangeline I. Corpuz of Tagumbao UMC in 2004. They visited the Austria- Alonzo Family particularly the house of Mrs. Virgie Austria Salazar for a Sunday afternoon Bible Study. The ministry was continued by Rev. Dr. Eduardo E. Corpuz of Dicolor UMC on October 17, 2006 wherein the 500 square meters’ church lot was donated by Dante C. Gragasin, Amelia Adaoag Gragasin, Joel F. Labasan and Remedios Adaoag Labasan. The Gragasin-Adaoag compound and house became the site of Bible Study & Children’s Teaching on November 18, 2006. The construction of the Church Building was started through Ground Breaking Service on December 27, 2007 by a Korean Missionary- Rev. Kim Sheung Hwan followed by a Church Inauguration and Dedication on April 29, 2008 attended by the members of the CLPAC and members of Café Love and Serve Mission headed by Rev. Kim Kwang Ill of South Korea Bethel Methodist Church. The Officiating Minister and Korean Project Coordinator was Rev. Esrom S. Sales. In June 1, 2008, it was recognized as a worshiping congregation and the Church Council was formed with Bro. Ryan A. Gragasin as the pioneer Chairperson and Youth Coordinator on June 15, 2008 while the Children’s Sunday School and Choir was organized by Teacher Jennifer A. Labasan under the Bamboo Tree beside the house of Mrs. Milagros B. Adaoag. In April 3, 2009, it was recognized as the 28th Local Church of CLD during the 21st CLPAC Regular Session as presided by Bishop Rodolfo A. Juan in Paniqui UMC. The first charge conference was presided by DS Wilson G. Vinluan on August 9, 2009. Moreover, the Church Parsonage Building was dedicated on December 4, 2011 with DS Antonio P. Pacheco as the officiating minister and on March 23, 2012, it was recognized as the youngest and fast growing church by obtaining rank 11 among the 28 Local Churches hence the church was visited by Bishop Pedro M. Torio, Jr. on August 11, 2013. This time, the Praise and Worship Team was organized. The church hosted the CLD UMYFP Summer Institute on April 27-29, 2016. The major constructions and improvements were the fence- parsonage window grills in 2013, parsonage building extension in 2014-2015, parsonage tiles in 2015, and concrete altar table in 2018. Ang Don Basilio UMC ay kauna-unahan at nag-iisang simbahan ng barangay. Nag-umpisa ang Metodismo noong 1994 sa pagbisita ng Dicolor UMC sa tahanan ng Gragasin – Adaoag upang ipahayag ang salita ng Diyos at upang pamunuan ang ritual ng house blessing, birthday service at vehicle dedication. Ang unang mission-outreach ay pinamunuan ni Rev. Cariaga Jr. ng DAPDAP UMC noong taong 1997 at ito ay sinundan ni Rev. Corpuz ng TAGUMBAO UMC noong 2004 sa pagbibisita sa Austria- Alonzo Family sa tahanan ni GNG. VIRGINIA " VIRGIE" ÀAUSTRIA SALAZAR at pagkakaroon ng Bible Study tuwing Linggo ng hapon. Ipinagpatuloy ni Rev. Corpuz ng DICOLOR UMC ang misyon noong Oktober 17, 2006 at ang 500 metro kuadrado na lupa ay ipinagkaloob bilang donasyon sa simbahan nina DANTE C. GRAGASIN, AMELIA ADAOAG GRAGASIN, JOEL F. LABASAN AT REMEDIOS ADAOAG LABASAN. Ginanap sa tahanan ng Pamilya Gragasin- Adaoag ang Bible Study at pagtuturo sa mga bata noong November 18, 2006. Ang Groundbreaking Ceremony ng gusali ay ginanap noong December 27, 2007 sa pamumuno ni, Rev. KIM SHEUNG HWAN at ang CHURCH INAUGURATION AND DEDICATION ay naganap noong April 29, 2008 na dilaluhan ng mga opisyales at delegado ng Central Luzon Philippines Annual Conference at mga Korean Love and Serve Missionaries sa pamumuno ni REV. KIM KWANG ILL ng South Korea Bethel Methodist Church. Si REV. DR. ESROM S. SALES ay nagsilbing Officiating Minister at Korean Project Coordinator

Noong April 3, 2009 ay na-organisa ito bilang ika-28 LOCAL CHURCH ng Central Luzon District - Central Luzon Philippines Annual Conference –21st Regular Session sa pamumuno ni Obispo RODOLFO A. JUAN sa Paniqui UMC at noong August 9, 2009 ay ginanap ang unang Charge Conference sa panunguna ni REV. DS WILSON G. VINLUAN. Natapos ang CHURCH PARSONAGE BUILDING noong December 4, 2011 sa pamamagitan ng Dedication Service sa pamumuno ni REV. DR. DS ANTONIO P. PACHECO. Kinilala ng District Conference noong March 23, 2012 ang Don Basilio UMC bilang pinakabata at pinakamabilis na lumagong iglesya kaya ito ay binisita ni OBISPO PEDRO M. TORIO, JR noong Agosto 11, 2013. Dito ay naorganisa ang Praise and Worship Team na pinangunahan ng mga kabataan.Naganap ang CLD UMYFP Summer Institiute noong April 27-29, 2016. Ang mga natapos na proyekto ay ang Parsonage & Fence Grills noong March 2013, Church Parsonage Building Extension noong October 25,2014 & September 2015, Parsonage Tiles 2015 at ang Concrete Altar Table noong February 2, 2018.
