Mga Kawikaan 22:3

3 Kung may dumarating na panganib, ang matalino'y nag-iingat,
ngunit di ito pansin ng mangmang kaya siya'y napapahamak.

▶️1. Ang matalino ay nakakakita ng panganib.
Ang taong may karunungan ay mapagmatyag. Nakikilala niya ang mga bagay na maaaring maglayo sa kanya sa Diyos—masamang impluwensya, maling desisyon, at tukso.

Hindi kahinaan ang pagiging maingat. Ito ay tanda ng karunungan.

▶️2. Ang matalino ay kumikilos.
Hindi sapat na makita ang panganib. Ang matalino ay umiwas, nanalangin, at humingi ng gabay sa Panginoon.

Minsan, ang pinakamatalinong desisyon ay hindi ang lumaban, kundi ang umiwas sa tukso.

▶️3. Ang mangmang ay nagwawalang-bahala.
Sabi ng talata, hindi pinansin ng mangmang ang panganib kaya siya'y napahamak.

Maraming tao ang nagsasabing, "Hindi naman mangyayari sa akin." Ngunit ang pagwawalang-bahala sa babala ay kadalasang nauuwi sa pagsisisi.

🔓Ang Diyos ay nagbibigay ng mga babala sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang Salita, ng Banal na Espiritu, at maging ng mga taong nagmamalasakit sa atin. Ang tanong ay: Makikinig ba tayo?

Huwag nating hintaying mapahamak bago maging maingat. Lumakad tayo sa karunungan at hayaan nating gabayan tayo ng Diyos sa bawat hakbang.

5 Huwag kayong magmukhang pera; at masiyahan na kayo sa anumang nasa inyo. Sapagkat sinabi ng Diyos, “Hindi kita iiwan ni pababayaan man.”

Hebrews 13:5

> “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’” — Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

Short Explanation

This verse gives us two important lessons:

1. Be content with what you have.
Our security and happiness should not depend on money or possessions. God is greater than anything we can own.

2. Trust that God will never leave us.
Even when circumstances change, God's presence remains constant. We may feel alone, but God's promise is: “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Sermon Thought: “God Is Enough”

When we have God, we have what we truly need.

💰 Don't let possessions control you.

❤️ Learn to be content.

🙏 Trust God's presence.

🕊️ Rest in His promise: He will never leave you.

God Is Our Refuge and Strength

Life brings difficulties—fear, problems, disappointments, and uncertainty. But Psalm 46:1 reminds us that we are never alone in the middle of trouble. God is with us.

1. God Is Our Refuge

A refuge is a place of safety. When life becomes difficult, we can run to God—not away from Him.

Psalm 9:9: “The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed.”

👉 When you are afraid, run to God.

2. God Is Our Strength

Sometimes our own strength is not enough. But God gives us strength when we feel weak.

Isaiah 40:31: “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.”

👉 When you feel weak, depend on God.

3. God Is Our Ever-Present Help

God is not distant or absent. He is present in our struggles, our tears, and our difficult seasons.

👉 You may not understand what is happening, but God is still with you.

Whatever trouble you are facing today, remember:

God is your REFUGE when you are afraid.
God is your STRENGTH when you are weak.
God is your HELP when you are in trouble.

You may be in trouble, but trouble is not greater than your God.

Prayer

“Lord, thank You for being our refuge, strength, and ever-present help. When we are afraid, help us trust You. When we are weak, give us strength. Remind us that You are always with us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
